Did… did I just subscribe to radish facts?

Developer(+1)

Radishes are members of the Brassicaceae family, along with broccoli, cauliflower, and kale.

(thanks for playing!)

Great little game, would love to see some more puzzles! Had to laugh at the end 😂

Developer(+1)

I would have loved to have time to make more puzzles. I'd love to do a polished up deluxe version with more content when I get a chance. Glad you liked the ending :)

Cool concept, fitting the theme nicely! I like the visuals and the audio cues. Only the “radish” sound is a bit loud and saturated but maybe it’s the web version doing weird stuff.

I liked the game, my only complaint is that it can be a bit slow to move with this grid based movement, especially with such large levels.

Overall pretty solid! Congrats for your entry :)

Developer(+2)

Hi, thanks so much for playing! I would like to update the movement to allow for continuous movement through the grid. Someone else mentioned that as well. The radish sound is definitely mixed too high. Fun fact, its made with an emulation of the text-to-speech engine featured in the commodore 64. I hope I did not cause anyone ear damage.

Going to make radish tomorrow XD

Great job!

Oh my goodness! This is so sweet. Love the little radish sounds! What a clever game design!! 🥰

Ha that was really great. It was funny, cute, fun, and I think just the right level of difficulty. I really enjoyed it!

I think I like radish now...

Anyway

Great job on your first game! The art style is gorgeous. This game embraces the true limitations of small-bit pixel art and its color palette. Gameplay-wise, it's very simple and fun. You introduced new mechanics quite well. That Japanese Man - Radish fact is also a really good cherry on top (of radish). I enjoyed the overall experience.

Oh, and. I absolutely love your ending. And the music too. Again, great job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I am glad people are playing long enough to see the ending! Thanks again!

All I have to say is...

Radish

haha love the radish sound effect!! Nice way to introduce new concepts one at a time

Developer

radish!

also, thank you!

I loved the humor.  I thought the sound effects were a bit much, but everything else came together well in this little puzzle.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I definitely agree, I think they are at best mixed a bit abrasively and if I had another day that would have been close by on my polish list.

Cute game. It is really nice how you introduce new mechanics and how you combine them at the end.

That ending is really nice :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It is the first time I've ever done a cutscene in a game and the back-end of those particular scripts are so technically horrifying lol.

cute, simple and effective, I was satisfied .

Thank you!

Haha loved the texts before each level :)

Would’ve been nice if you could just hold a button and it would keep moving in that direction. But overall a solid 5 minutes of entertainment, as promised.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That's a great idea for a future update!

Thank you to anyone who gives this a try. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and I hope it brings you at least a moment of entertainment!
