Fantastic jam submission! The art is great, I particularly love the environmental details, it feels very polished. And the mix of turn-based gameplay and puzzles is something i've not seen before!

Developer

Thanks for checking the game out!

Nice game! The energy mechanic is well found, I am not a fan of puzzle game but I enjoyed trying to understand the different aspects of this one.

There was a cool megaman battle network vibes in the ambience and graphics of the game which gave me a bit of nostalgia Haha

Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much for checking the game out! I really enjoyed Ruins of Mitriom, and hopefully one day I'll be able to make a game as good as that!

Awesome graphics and music! Really like the connection with theme and good puzzle design. Excellent work!

Developer

Thank you for the kinds words!

Excellent use of theme and awesome graphics. It has even cool story :)
Only thing I would change is either to allow movement by holding buttons or to move with mouse directly to clicked tile, other it is excellent job!

Developer(+1)

Yes the movement needs its tweaks. Thanks a lot for playing!

Lovely little game, enjoyed the casual flow and how the theme is implemented. Very nice!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it!

Great artwork man. I like it. The mechanic is also very cool yet simple to follow. Nicely done!

Developer

Glad to hear the mechanich was simple to follow! Thanks for playing!

Super fun concept, very polished, and the art is great! Would be great to disable text for places we've already been, but it's a quick click to scroll past (and is probably useful if someone clicked past it on the first go). But yeah very impressive! Had a lot of fun playing it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I think a checkpoint system and the option to disable dialogue would have been great polish!

Thanks for trying it out! yes, I noticed the same problem.  I think a good solution is to disable mouse input for 0.5 seconds or so when dialogue triggers

Very beautiful graphics and consistent mechanics!

The puzzle is smart and the game design/difficult progression is very polished.

It's impressive for the tiny time we have. Congrats!

Developer

Thanks! I have noticed that a lot of people were quite happy with the difficulty curve, level design, and "tutorial" while others found themselves clashing against a wall. Quite intresting how every one procces a game

Also, one of the devs of the project is called tiny haha

Love the puzzles, art and story, really awesome game! My only point is that it would be better if we could hold the mouse button to walk or just click in some point and the character moves to there

Developer

I agree 100% Thanks a lot for playing!

Submitted(+1)

I really liked the artstyle and gameplay, the game itself fells really polished, like something you would easily release to some kind of top flash games website back in the days.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing our game, and for the nice compliments!

Loved the game tho, the puzzles made my tinny little brain suffer lol but it was worth it :D

Developer(+1)

I am glad the difficulty was worth something! so out of curiosity, could you finish the game?

Submitted(+2)

I really liked this one! The atmosphere is kinda reminiscing of bastion/transistor, but it is it's own thing at the same time. Puzzles are quite more complex than meet the eye and the theme is very fitting. I missed using the "charge floor" ability more, but nevertheless it is a fully fledged game already. Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Being Compared to Bastion or Transistor is an honor! Thanks!

Submitted(+2)

Such a nice story and ambiance! An great puzzles too! I would maybe just make the controls with the mouse more like Photon goes where you click (but that means pathfinding and everything...). An excellent entry with really clever puzzles and a good game feel! Congrats!

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot!

I tried out your game but I got stuck on the second level and had no idea what to do. I found the moving sound to be quite repetitive and annoying. I could not handle it and I had to stop playing. Maybe a better tutorial next time?

Developer (1 edit)

I personally tone down the SFX sound in the menus (press Esc for the pause menu) when I play, so I do sympathize with the move sound. It's unfortunate that the 2nd level isn't solvable for you, but I do appreciate you checking out the game.

Really polished game with a good story. I liked the self narrated nature of the game, totally different from an isometric puzzle. Great game with a lot of care given to it.

Developer

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed. It was a great learning experience.

Beautiful pixel art and i really liked the intro cinematic !

I also enjoyed the fact that you can control the game with mouse only this makes it pretty chill and is also a plus for accessiblity,  i also like the fact that photon hints you on some things without just giving away the solution and also not needing a tutorial.

On the flip side this makes figuring some situations out a bit hard, personally i got stuck at the part where you can reactivate security bots but couldn't figure out what to do, i found a distant switch but as soon as i pulsed to activate it the bot killed me so this is as far as i went.

Now that being said this is still a totally solid game and i had fun playing it

Good job :)

Developer(+2)

Thanks for checking it out and for the exelent feedback! If you happen to want to know the ending you can pass through levels with F10

Submitted

No problem, Good to know, i'll check it out then :)

Wow, what a complex game you've made! Puzzles are hard enough. The design is pretty,  the little details such as toolboxes and piles of rubble are adding so much to the feeling of abandonment. The music reminded me of Va-11 Hall-A a little.
But the WASD movement in isometric space confused me a little :( And one more thing, it was a little annoying that Photon was moving one step at a time.
Overall, I really liked your game, it's great!

Developer

Thank you for checking the game out. In retrospect we could have put a lot of the QoL features in the game, but hindsight is always 20/20. Thank you for pointing it out! It'll be a good learning lesson for our future projects.

Amazing game, both visually and in gameplay!

The only gripe I had was lack of undo button (or more checkpoints).

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. A undo button is an interesting suggestion!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Cheers

The game is extremely well-made! It's obvious that you guys put a lot of time into polishing it -- the graphical presentation was especially well-done, and the game is great at teaching the mechanics.

Developer

Thanks. It really means a lot to us. We put a lot of soul into the project!

Submitted(+1)

And that definitely shines through! Great work. 😄
