I struggled a lot to get started, but once I understood the game, it was actually really nice. It's really well made how you need to juggle your energy and divide it around things you think are important.

I lived 50 years and survived the war, became a senator before finishing school and had a family, so I think I did pretty good. :P

Great game, gives a feeling of you need to do many things at once, and then there come troubles.

I thought it was a  really interesting take on the theme. Really engaging once I got into it! I agree with what some others said about the overlapping tokens being hard to grab. I also think that when they spawned right on top of the cards, it made it hard to read.

A civil war broke out and then I died because I was poor, oof. But interesting game idea!

Sometimes it was hard to click on the right object when they overlapped. Maybe if they spawned to the side of the cards it would help?

At the beginning I didn't really understood what to do, but with perseverance I started to make the good choices for my life :-D. For me It was like a "The Sims" in the way that you choose where to spend your "time" or energy here. But very innovative with the cards and the focus on the time passing by + the choices. Very original, congrats!

Took me a minute to figure out how this worked. I read the in-game rules twice – the first time I got overwhelmed by more and more getting added to the same page! Then when I started the game and energy sources appeared, I didn’t immediately know what to do with them so I paused and clicked on everything I could think of. I even restarted the game in case it was bugged. It took me a bit to realize that places to use those energy sources had not yet appeared.

It also wasn’t clear to me if I could just ignore bad events or if I was supposed to do everything or what the success/failure criteria were – mostly I just tried to match up shapes and symbols and at some point I ended up in jail.

I liked the idea but as someone unfamiliar with the genre (if it was a genre) it was a bit opaque to me.

Did you get inspiration from Cult Simulator? it kinda reminded me of that game (and if you didnt I suggest you check it out).I found it a litlle difficult to understand how to play, but really liked the diferent direction!

Thanks for playing~

Yes, thought it might be easy and fun. But while developing, I realized how much work Cult Simulator had done to ease the learning curve and improve the game pace.

Cult Simulator is such a diferent experience. I tip my hat to you, for trying to do something similar

Exactly my comment! Reminded me of Cultist Simulator. Well done for pulling it off!
And well done for developing some clever solutions to quickly explain the mechanics to a Jam audience!
Very smart!
