Awesome 3D platformer. I love graphics and dragons :D
Unfortunately, I can't understand why after double entering the 'ESC' key the game froze. Also don't have a pause menu to change options or go back to the menu. I wanted 10 times to change mouse sensitivity :)
Awesome looking 3D Platformer !
I really dig the N64 style aesthetic on display, and all of the little attention to detail, like the level preview camera when you start to get an idea of what's coming.
Main issue i had is that the platforming is Tough as nails O_o especially with how the movement controls feel, i'm not sure exactly how to explain it but they feel almost too snappy which makes it really hard to precisely aim for the falling platforms, though they seem a bit better on keyboard and mouse than on controller when i tried it.
Regardless of this this is fun and the authentic N64 style really gives it tons of charm !
Good job to you guys :)
Wow this is awesome, I love the retro aesthetics, you nailed them! There was a tonne of content, it's really impressive how much you made. The animations and characters were brilliant, you did a great job of game feel with sfx and particle effects. Some of the platforming was a little difficult and hard to judge, potentially a steeper tilt on the camera and a bit of tweaking on the auto camera rotation and it would be easier. I liked the feel of the first dino character, it was a really nice flow to the platforming. Great job!
A 100% legit retro game. Although I never had N64 this gives me Croc vibes nostalgia (also retro jumps PTSD). Looks really nice, I wish to move to 3D at some point. I am on 8 bit period now :)
Could you suggest some channels or materials for the retro 3D?
thank you so much for the feedback! Youtube is filled with great content, you can search how to make low poly models in blender, there are lots of good turotials there. One channel in particular I could recomend is MortMort, he has tons of blender and pixelart turotial which is basically what we did for the n64 aesthetic here
Very nice, impressive entry! instantly reminded me on the look of banjo and kazooie :-)
Very nice game, reminds me Ocarina of Time a little bit (I really like the sound design and graphics). But we need more checkpoints, game is very hard)
Really Cool looking game, fun and chill, really bring me retro vibes, Good work
Overall, its an impressive game and I liked it. The characters are great, the rampup of the game is really good.
I had a couple of problems with this game. In the later levels (especially lvl5) the floating platforms are not evenly spaced. The problem with this is that its absolutely not visible in my opinion. Unless you learn how and when to jump on every platform it cannot be done. Its not a good design in my opinion, the player should be able to navigate the levels without memorizing it. There was a weird sideways push that I noticed during jumps. Not sure what happened there.
Apart from these annoyances I really enjoyed it, its great!
Thanks for playing! Yeah I couldn't finish polisng the auto camera that pushes a little everytime you jump when you're running fast, I'm trying to look at that for a post jam update of the game, hope we can make it better!
Nailed the N64 aesthetic! Fun and adicting gameplay with funky music. Everything fits so well together. I hade some problems with sliding of ramps but it got easier when i noticed the generous hang time for jumps. I'm impressed.
Really cool, very strong n64 vibes with good art. Platforming was quite challenging, a few more checkpoints may not have been amiss.
Solid 3d platformer, very hard, awesome art style... got to level 4, nice work
Very hard! I beat the first level though! 😎I think I got the world record.
