Pretty simple, but works. Definitely good start for an UI and synthesize mechanic for a larger project down the line!
Nice work, a lot of possibilities from a few starting elements really is my favourite take on this theme. It's cool that you give details on your project's status, where it's at, and your afterthoughts and remarks
Nice mechanic for crafting. Feels like you could use some more time to finalize the game loop, but it works! And it's definitely a part of a much bigger plan, so good luck in future developments!
I think scoping is one of the hardest skills to have when joining a jam and from what you wrote on the itch-page it seems you knew your own limits and executed on an idea to the best of your abilities. And I think that's very admirable. There's definetly potential here. I'm sure of it. Keep at it :)
Was reading you entry, congrats on getting back to gaming, great ui even if it is not a game ui is half of it :P keep at it
Good start to inventory and craft system! Would be nice if I knew what am I holding as there is no text, that would be a nice improvement. Thanks for the demo and good luck with the bigger project! Also the devlog is cool!
Thanks - there should be tool tips, at least, but adding the item name once you click it wouldn't be tricky. I guess I was still in the frame of mind of the larger game idea - where you'd already been introduced to the item & collected it. Thanks for the feedback!
I made a tropic thingy whatsit. The highlight of my day :)
Nice concept, cool that you have the devlogs! Congrats!
I like this a lot. As you said, there's work to be done, but it's clean, the arts good, for a proof of concept, it makes me want to see it in a game sometime. Well done :)
I've pushed the final version of this for this Jam! You can read more at the final devlog here.
