Simple game, that I enjoyed. The controls gave the game a challenge that would be fun to see explored in later levels.

Interesting idea. I won my very first attempt completely by accident. After that I really struggled.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

Nice job on catching a a loop the first time!

My suggestion is to apply very gentle control at first as you enter orbit... however, when you are returning to the portal you need to apply a bit more thrust to get out of the gravity well of the planet.

Hard to get your head around at first. But after careful maneuvering it got easier and turned into a interesting challange. The planets and satelites are great. And The tails of the satelites are so cool. The player sprite did stick out but didn't take away from the interesting gameplay nor the great music. I really enjoyed it! :)

Glad you enjoyed- thanks for reviewing!

A tricky task, but after I worked out how careful I needed to be turning left/right it was achievable. Nice audio, I liked that the background and planet changed with each restart. Thanks for participating :)

Well done and thanks for the feedback!

The main problem the LEFT RIGHT rotation is too sensitive.

Other than that, game concept well done! Planet art nailed it!

I really liked the different planets and the satellites, but they were substantially different from the main character, that was a bit too minimalistic in my opinion. The concept of the game is a nice small one, but I found it very difficult to even win once. Good job anyway!

Thanks for playing and for the input!

The pixel art is from free/open assets on itch.io, while the player (alien) is actually from the Godot "first game" tutorial. So I certainly could do with more consistency.

I agree, I struggled to do anything other than crash land

Agreed, it's tricky!

Thanks for giving it a play!

Cool concept! The controls feel cool, like I was orbiting, but it was quite hard to maneuver and I only managed to win once - but I guess that's the skill the game is testing. ;-)

Congrats on finishing! Every game is a miracle. :-)

I'd definitely like if the first orbit was easier to accomplish (e.g. via a very simple level + more responsive controls). Then I can increase the difficulty in later levels by adding more obstacles and new mechanics.

Congrats on completing an orbit!
