I liked the overall concept, but I did find the controls to be a little tough. The sliding to a stop is tough when you need to make very precise movements. It's all about finding a balance. Keep it up! ^^

Nice and fun, using the colors of the GWJ logo was a nice touch.

I feel the controls where  a little confusing regarding the resize of the player.

For a more simple approach, I suggest you to look into some mario bros games, where different mushrooms are used: one can make you smaller and the other bigger, there is also the Alice in wonderland story example.

You could follow a similar pattern of this example and make different triangles for different sizes without the need for the player to press "e".

But that's just my opinion an suggestions. :p  Anyway is nice concept, well done. :)

I appreaciate a lot your feedback and opinion, thank you for taking the time giving me a detailed analysis :)

I'm glad you had fun with my entry! ^^

Nice game. I suck a lot at these precise platformers though haha. I think having a marker for which spots make you big again would be useful. Also, maybe having something that being big is useful for would be cool.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! and yes, I agree. Next time I'll mark the areas, It's a better game design approach

This is really good, the ant man mechanics are cool!  And the music goes perfectly too

Oh man, I suck so bad at precise platformers. This one has a nice mechanic, tho!

Beign small has a timer? Because sometimes I turn back to normal without touching A 🤨

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing my entry ^^

There are certain areas that makes you grow again, so the level design is made around that concept as well.

It's not labeled and I think it's a better idea to show the player where they are, but maybe for another update :D

Submitted

A label should fix that, surely! Or just make it that the player has the control over it

Love the concept and the idea, good game. Good over all aesthetic  and environment. But Oh boy did I have trouble. kept failing and failing. but it was worth it.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed my entry ^^ I hope the levels weren't too much punishing or not well balanced

Nice level design, nice polished feel to the game.  It's tough and you die a lot (or at least I do) but it doesn't matter because the levels are a good length to just try again.

Developer

thank you for your feedback ^^ and thanks for playing the game

This was so fun and the level designs were well thought out! Great job! BTW I also really liked the music - did you make it yourself!? So catchy!!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for playing the game! I’m glad you enjoyed it ^^ and yes, music has been done by me as well. This is my first full solo jam :D

Submitted(+1)

Phew, that was hard for me too, but fun! The sliding increased the difficulty quite a bit. Each level was short enough that it didn't bother me to die 1 million times :D

Developer

I'm so happy to hear you had fun with the game :D thank you so much for playing ^^

That was really tough for me, but I might just be bad at platformers. Best I could do was 8:53 and I tried to beat that lol. The level designs were cool and interesting. I felt like it was all an ice level because of the momentum. The last few levels felt very difficult and punishing, which is not necessarily a complaint.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for playing!

Your are totally right: the momentum thing was a bit hard to balance and I still also think it's not perfect. I'm happy you've enjoy it ^^
