So I went through this again and was able to interact everything I couldn't before. Also, I think some of the problems stem from playing it in fullscreen mode, to let you know. I think the idea of a sim-esque crafting world from which you can use the resources in a tower defense area is really really cool and I wanna play this when it's further developed. I found having using wasd as movement and mouse for interactions made it awkward to use the enter key until I realized that the arrow keys were also available. I think having space do the same thing as enter would be nice. The house in the "W" world didn't seem to have any collisions and I could walk out into black space. I noticed the digging reticule where your cursor pointed was offset from where I was actually digging. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't craft a cannon, then I figured I needed throwing stones, not lava stones to craft it, but that didn't work as well. One thing I'd say the game would need is some sort of obstacles or "game-y" mechanics in the sim/resource gathering worlds because without it would quickly feel very much like tedious and grindy busywork to get back to the tower defense area. I think this was all in all a really interesting concept and, like I said, I wanna try this out after more content is added.

Really nice idea! I enjoyed the dialogue - it really brought the game to life!

Nice idea, the controls felt a bit off, the music suits the game good. Please put the interaction key (enter) near the wasd keys. Switching hands was an awful experience. Liked the intro.

Nice dialog system, a little confusing how to do some things. Still really impressive to see a craft game like this, especially with a such short time limit of the jam.

I like the concept but I was confused during game play.  I'm not sure how to place the defence to stop the bad guys.  I placed one and it stopped a few of them but the other blocks didn't stop them.  I also couldn't craft a canon (I think it was a canon, sorry if I misread even though I think I had enough parts). The intros really get you into the game and I really liked them.  I also really like the different music and sounds based on locations!!

I like it. Specially the long dialogues going back and forth. Made it feel alive.  I  went out of the house and I kept getting confused.  I wished the inn keeper came out and showed me a few of his tricks before sending me off.

It was fun though.

The ideas in themselves are good and sort of ties in with the theme of tiny world(s), but it seems to be a bit buggy often. Or I misunderstand something, since I can not build buildings that I craft in the defense section. It's very ambitious with the amount of things you want to have in the game; maybe a bit too ambitious for a weeks work.

Yea realized my idea may have been a little to big for a short game jam but it was to late to give up! Also that's weird that you cant craft items in the defense section. Were you pressing enter?  Either way,  I see I need to work on getting  instructions across to the player better in the future.

I am holding off on rating this because it took forever to get past the boy/girl choice since the area to click on was very offset from the sprites. Then when I woke up, I couldn't get out of the room. I can see if I approach the bottom wall, there is text that says "Enter" but no amount of button pushing or clicking anywhere will get me out of that room. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer, just letting you know.

Thanks for holding off, I fixed the buttons but I didn't run into the issue with the door, odd. Maybe it will work now.

I like the character designs, and you have a cool concept with the different small worlds!

A little more user feedback would be good. It took me a long time to realize I had to hold down the mouse button to collect materials, and it was hard to know how many materials I had / what I could craft with what I had.

Thanks for the praise and feedback! And for pointing out the bad user feedback,  made me realize a mistake I made when I never unhid my hidden UI. Fixed

Not bad for a first game jam game. I like where it's going and the idea of picking up tiles that you'll place later is unique and fun, but I don't think it works. Also, you can accidentally use the mouse scroll wheel and skip through big chunks of dialogue.

Also, arrow keys and mouse aren't a good combination for right handed people imo. WASD ftw haha
