Thanks for the detailed review, I really appreciate that. The button are made by me but are I think the only asset that was re-used from another game. I wasn't thinking it originally but I'll update that based on your advice. The zoom issue seems to be on everyone's mind and I'll definitely be changing that in the near future. Thanks for playing and I appreciate the comments!

No way you escaped? I made that wall pretty tall (the one with my horrible wall texture). Thanks for trying that and letting me know. I'll be adjusting that when I update it. The grass was a bit tedious to make. Several photos from the yard, add transparency, and copy and paste overlapping dozens of times according to the shape of the bezier I made for the level. The audio was more fun. And thanks for playing!
I enjoyed the puzzles. I also like the easy reset. The constant movement of the art and the story make it seem absorbing and nice. My only suggestion is to enable long press, long movement (I have a clicky keyboard and it's a lot of clicking haha). Perhaps with a delay or a "dash" key so someone doesn't accidentally move too far.
I had problems with the game just locking up (web and windows versions) but I'll review what I can tell from it. I'm not sure why the planets are being destroyed but it seems original (perhaps they are on a collision course with the alien's home planet?). The movement is smooth and it's easy to grasp and has good repeatability.
It's a little chaotic but it's fun. I like how smooth it all works and dodging the bullets is difficult but not impossible. Yes I die quickly but that's just my bad playing. Perhaps a progressively faster pace would really engage someone. I'd really like to play this by starting slow and getting quicker!!
This game has an impressive amount of features. I like the sounds but wish it had a little sound track but serious I know it's the time frame and this game is large. I would like to move diagonal or at least the latest key press to register when changing directions instead of having the character stop if 2 keys are pressed. I played the web version in case that makes a difference.
I like the concept but I was confused during game play. I'm not sure how to place the defence to stop the bad guys. I placed one and it stopped a few of them but the other blocks didn't stop them. I also couldn't craft a canon (I think it was a canon, sorry if I misread even though I think I had enough parts). The intros really get you into the game and I really liked them. I also really like the different music and sounds based on locations!!
Oops sorry. I should have tested it on my Mac (it was exported from a PC). I'm on my Mac now but it's doing a massive update. I'll post it as a web version Friday which is after the voting but if you want to try it for fun it'll be easier. Argh. Thanks for the heads up, it'll help me in the future!!!
Thanks for the heads up on the camera zoom. And yes it's for the wild card (and the fact that I knew I'd run out of time to do a full menu). I'll adjust that in the near future. I love audio and I'm happy when someone notices that (even though it's far from perfect). It's actually just scrunching leaves and my son's voice which made making it fun. Thanks for playing!
Thanks for noticing the zoom. It was initially more panned but was a bit too easy so I decided to zoom a little extra. The cut off text is on purpose ... I guess it's the "menu as part of the game thing" so you have to move a little to read it. Ok maybe not the best idea but I found it fun. I'm thinking of added some extra levels and eventually make it more of a platform with bezier curves as the ground like this U thing (which you're right should be less zoomed). I think it'll be a separate game or Pill Bug 2. Thanks for playing!
