Really great sound and a pretty original idea. It didn't take long to get used to the controls and once I figured out how to use the airship I had a fun time romping around the clouds. Nice entry!
Glad you like the music, we had a more than fantastic composer on the team, and it was an honour to work with her.
And romping about the clouds is always a good time :)
We are honoured you gave our game a go and enjoyed!
The graphics were great and the controls felt good to use. The puzzles were fun to go through.
The music fit the theme of the game, relaxing yet adventurous.
Took me a while to figure out how to suck in the clouds, but I managed to figure out the controls.
Overall, Nice looking game with some fun puzzles.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we totally could've done better to make sure you understood the controls.
I am really glad that you do enjoy the graphics and music, though! We had some superb talent on the team, and we could not have done it without them, make sure to check out their work!
A million thank-yous for giving our game a go, and having fun!
Really Liked the game, would not have been able to complete it without Margret's infinite knowledge. If this game is ever made into a full one, I would love to see how much cooler it could be!
Margaret is a force to be reckoned with for sure!
We super appreciate you playing our game and enjoying it!
Really fun game. Its really fun flying with the goose and the puzzles are cool. I think there needs to be a better tutorial for filling up the ship. Racing the pressure plate was fun. Would be cool if there were more things to find on the different islands. Overall this game is amazing with really cool characters.
Thank you! Somehow, instruction for ship refeuling seemed to go right over our heads, despite it being one of the earliest features. That's game jams for you!
Thank you for both playing, and enjoying our game!
I totally missed the point at first, and made a full circle around the cyclone with the ship (took me five minutes of flying around before I realized I should go fly with the ship 😅). I loved the flight control feeling, and the animations were 10/10. Great presentation! After my full circle around the cyclone, I realized I should be on the three islands close together, haha, and quickly solved the fairly straightforward puzzles there. Good job! Also, great composer ;)
Amazing that you even did a cutscene at the end!! The whole silly setting really made this great haha.
Actually the puzzles are unsolvable by normal human being. Only person with IQ over 200 can solve them :P
Thank you for your feedback. We need to get better tutorial for it.
Thank you for playing our game!
Really clean look. I really like all the 3D work, from a style perspective. The controls were pretty good, and the concept was pretty novel. I had just reached the puzzle with the balloons, and I was grabbing some cloud outside. Then I got the brilliant idea to fill my pack, and fire it at the same time... Anyone reading this, don't do that lol. Needless to say it tanked pretty hard. But I had fun getting to that point! xD
Really cool look.
Smooth feel.
And wow, that sound though. Whoever your composer was, she must be pretty darn good.
Assuming they are a she. Not that I know her... xP
Nicely done!
I was beyond impressed myself when the art came in, our 3D artist is super good and we had a blast getting to work with him.
Controls are also pretty hard to nail, so we appreciate that you like them!
And yeah, sorry about the lag. I guess a thousand kinematic bodies, each with collision can be sorta intensive sometimes.
Anyways, so happy you enjoyed our game!
The concept for this game is great. the goose companion was a very fun idea, and shooting clouds was satisfying as well. The music was also great and match perfectly with the atmosphere. However, this game did run a little slow on my setup. After all, Godot isn't the best of 3d engines. I was still able to play the game, just not silky smooth, that's all. But I am glad you guys took the risk to create a very cool 3d game in Godot.
Don't worry, slow setup here too, developing this game was certainly an event for my poor ole laptop.
Glad you liked the music, our composer is great, and we had a superb time getting to work with her. She managed to match the atmosphere of the game without there even being one fully in place yet. (Definitely go check her works out.)
Anyways, we really are happy you played and enjoyed our game, it means a lot!
Took me some time to grasp the controls but the game is awesome and very fun.
Yeah, it seems controls could've been much better communicated to everyone. But at least you figured them out!
We really appreciate your feedback, compliments, and enjoyment of our game!
This was so much more fun than I was expecting! I had loads of fun with this and I adore Margaret!! Nicely done!!
Fantastic commentary, we are so glad you played our game!
Margaret truly is a beacon of happiness :)
We are so thankful to you for playing our game and even recording it, that was so awesome to watch!
Really cool! Fun to fly around with the goose. Puzzles are a little easy but overall impressed. Great polish for a jam game and pretty original concept :)
So glad you like it!
I think everyone here on the development team had a great time flying with Margaret, too. Jestem nailed the controls on that one.
Puzzles could've had a little more substance to them though, you're right. We'll try better with this next time.
Thank you so much for the feedback, and the enjoyment!
This was fun to play! I enjoyed the flying goose mechanic. Overall the gameplay felt really smooth, only the camera sometimes clipped through walls. The puzzles could have been a bit harder in my opinion, but that is more personal preference than critical :D
Puzzles definitely could've been a little more substance-y, but it's a jam unfortunately, otherwise we totally would've improved them.
But anyway, so many thank-yous for playing our game, it really does mean a lot to us!
It seems we had some very similar ideas for our games 😄 But great game nonetheless!
We really do :D I will check your game after coming back home!
I hope you had great expierience with our game!
Took me a long time to figure out you can fly with the goose. But once I did, it’s like my favorite part flying around :)
I love the visual and audio style.
Tips:
- you can refuel ship using clouds you collected. We recommend refueling ship at the beginning of the game to prevent soft locks.
Shoot them into device at the front of the ship to refuel it! You can also save fuel using ship momentum. Built up some speed and then you can slide ship to it's destination fuel-free!
If you have any issues them contact developers. Game is pretty complicated, but we will help you play through!
Game look gorgeous and the music at the beginning is a perfect fit! I immediately ran out fo fuel and was stuck it seems though :(
Hi. Sorry for the issues! I would try to help.
You can refuel the ship using clouds. Try refueling at the beginning of the level and you should have enough fuel for all islands.
You can also save some fuel by building momentum and then sliding the ship in correct direction (It takes time to slow don ship, but this movement is free in terms of fuel0
You can use RMB to suck in clouds. There are cloud generators in some levels
There is device on the front of the ship. You can shoot clouds there (using LMB) and it will refuel the ship
i softlocked myself
Hi Oliver!
What happened exactly? It's hard to debug without info what happened.
One of the levels doesn't have a cloud generator and I used all my clouds. Isaac knows what level I'm talking about, I'm not too sure how to describe it myself.
Ow ok! That's true! Sorry for the issues!
If you refuel the ship at the beginning of the level then you should have enough fuel to go to all islands.
Ship also have some momentum and takes time to slow down so you can use it to save fuel by sliding.
I hope this will help you finish the game!
