It is pretty unpolished game, but I like the concept and gold collecting mechanics! I just wish game was a bit less sluggish/slow paced.
The gold collecting thing could be the whole premise on its own, it has so much potential! I think even with current polish and depth game would be very fun if it was fast paced and you had to collect A LOT of gold, like so much it always fall from your "shoulders" and you need to anxiously run around collecting these coins!
So, great idea and good take on the theme, I haven't seen other "you are minion on the arena against hero" games in this jam yet :)

I might be dumb, but for the first 10min of playing i walked with coins on my head, beacuse i didnt see the shop...overall the art style is cute, gameplay is fun, just missing the music!
I'm glad you liked it. Sound and music would definitely make it better, but I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes down to that part. I gotta just work on it and actually do sound design for one of these jams XD
Fun idea. I couldn't figure out how collecting coins worked. I walked over the little yellow dots which I assumed should be the said coins, but nothing happened.
Ya, I didn't end up getting around to any tutorial for this one. Space is to pick up the coins, I was originally going to have walked over them pick up but then you'd just pick up coins right after dropping them which was causing issues.
Loved the way you collect the money, i couldn't stop doing it, aswell as wondering what the hell i am (a person, a fly?)
Personally i would have liked a bit more of information on the screen. Besides the boots, i don't know what i was buying or if i can die.

I wish it had sound effects.
The gold pick up is so fun! It would have been nice if there would be an actual end to the game (e.g. overwhelming the hero). I'm not 100% if there is one - but I bought all my upgrades and got the dude counter (allies upgrade?) to 31. At this point the novelty was gone and it's also not really hard to stay alive.
Ya, that was an issue I was finding, I wanted to make the hero become really strong and keep trying to kill you, but I didn't want it to be impossible. It kind of just goes on too long without anything really changing. Thanks for the feedback.
That was pretty good! I think if you wanted to add some sound effects, and maybe more upgrades and levels it could make it a nice thing to kill some time with!
Ya, I need to start actually adding sounds into my game, they're all just kind of silent at the moment XD.

That was really cool, I wish there was audio for coin pick-up and enemy spawns, would have been a lot cooler with that imo, but overall, visually, really well done!

I'm glad you liked it. That was honestly the hardest part to do about this game. The gold kept wanting to fall through the player for the first few days. I'm glad I was able to get it working though and I'm glad you liked it :D
