Good idea, definitely resonates with jam's theme!
Although it feels a bit clunky and also hard! My hero kept dying before I could get back to town to resupply, because they kept meeting some tough enemies on the way back.
Oh no, the Linux version seems to segfault when I press start :(

In Linux it crashes when I press start.
Very nice idea, but it feels very hard. I grinded a lot in the meadows until having 2 leather armor piece, only to get killed by a 2 monsters in the next region.
equipment doesn't last long, and is super expansive considering how hard it is to earn money.
sometime RNG only allowed me to buy a knife and a bread to go back,
some other time i encounter 3 cow and bring back 20 coins, but even then that trip costed me 10 coin ton start with (1-2 knifes, 1-2 bread).
I really want to see more of this map, but the initial grind is feeling slow.
Yea the RNG is something I was tweaking until the day of submission and it still felt off.
Liked the idea and the game at first seemed really fun, but after a while, no interesting events happened. I was only getting cows, angry farmers or children and kinda died not even reaching the wastelands. But overall looks and plays great!
I got the game to start without a problem! I did encounter a problem where I seem to have lost my equipment when I left the first town. It's a bit unclear what to do, but I had fun. You can add potions to gain instant health while in battle (I mean that drop naturally, the shop one is expensive). Good job on the game! I like the map.

Which OS version is this for?
On linux, but I tried on windows as well
I downloaded the game on my other Windows system and there was no issue. I don't have a Linux machine to test the game on. I don't know what the problem could be.
