Story and art are on point. I liked the tileset you used. Some of those bats caught me by surprise and had me looking at walls on every turn. Good job overall! The player character turned out great too.

Congrats on your first finished jam!

Nice style and pretty fun game. It would be great if we would get a refilled health on each level or there was some other way to gain health. Also maybe regenerate at the same level when dying. But then again the game is really short. I did manage to finish it in the end!

Nice game and looks great. Maybe add some way  to recover health

Really cute game. it was kinda anti-climactic when you couldn't fight the overgrown mushroom. Great game!

Good job on your first game! It was a fun adventure and the sprites looked nice! I felt like the controls could be a bit improved, and you may want to look into capturing the mouse since you use the mouse to aim. Also maybe a way to shoot your projectiles a bit further would be nice. It was hard to get close enough to the slimes to paint them but not get hurt.

I loved it!

Simple, yet fun gameplay, charming pixel graphics. Honestly, I enjoyed it.

I wanted to fight the mushroom at the end sooo bad. My only suggestion would be to maybe add a health pickup to help you heal back if you screw it.

Congrats on the entry! :3

Developer

Thank you ^^

I will try to add a fungus fight but at the moment I have no idea what it could look like.
I tried to add hearts that would bring back life. I did but it crashed the game: ((

Good work on your first game. you can definitely do more on your next Game Jam. The controls are a little difficult that you have to use mouse and keyboard and the mobs attack fairly fast, so it was easy to lose life, would appreciate if there was some potion to heal back in such case.

Developer

Thank you. It was really hard, especially because I decided to do everything myself.^^

I will try to do attack animations for monsters which should allow time to react

I wanted to add some life-reviving hearts, but I couldn't.

Good entry! I really like that story + graphics style, and the audio complements it nicely. I agree with kiberptah that I wish the minions followed the player around :D I also feel like the controls were a little bit heavy or slidey, which caused me to take damage even when I thought I would be able to evade it.

I'd love to see a post-jam version with some more experimentation on the minions!!

Developer

I will try to improve the controls. Maybe I'll also add a blink spell to avoid enemies and who knows what else.

Thank you for opinion

Nice game. A bit sad that you army of new acquired minions doesn't follow you but it's fine. SFX are much louder then the music which is weird since I adjusted audio in first seconds according to music volume. Not a lot of assets but ones that are here look sweet! Also default windows mouse cursor wasn't hidden which was a bit immersion-breaking.

But overall, nice little game, especially since it's the first one!! Keep it going.

Developer

Thank you. I ran out of time to add a few things, some things I wanted to add ruined the game. In addition, the disease also spoiled the plans. I will try to fix the music volume and improve a few things.

Thank you again. ^^
