Very nice idea, a nice combination of farming and tower defense. I think it would definitely be nice to have better-organized waves, I mean give the player the time to organize it self.

You're definitely right about that! I didnt have much experiencig with programming placeable objects so I went in blind this time around, and my time management was so off I didnt even start making enemies until the last day of jam :V. Thanks for playing though!
very original and nice idea! as others have noted, the planting of seeds definitely felt broken, and spamming q+clicks ended up planting seeds anywhere on the screen. also, i was able to make a row of turrets at the bottom of the screen which basically insured i could plant anything up top and never be bothered by the enemies.
but even with that, i thought this was a very beautiful and cool take on the theme, and a lovely jam game! congrats! :)
Thanks for playing! Yeah I spent the majority this time around trying to program the placing of the seeds and the tilemaps since I didn't have too much experience workign with them. So there's definitely quite a lot of jank in that XD. Though weirdly enough I never accounted for what'd happen if you continuously press q while placing, thanks for bringing that into notice!

Good idea, just got confused by the controls. Not sure what I did, but after planting and harvesting the first round I couldn't plant any more.

Hey - this is cool idea. I think it could be fun to be able to harvest your plants with the same projectile you use to fight enemies

Really liked the idea behind this. The idea of planting crops, defending them, and harvesting them is quite nice. I also thought it was cool that there was a bit of lore to the game with the Casino debt. Unfortunately, planting the seeds seemed extremely difficult. I had to kind of spam, Q, Right Click and Left Click to get the seeds to plant properly. Maybe there is something I'm not quite understanding with the planting mechanic.
oh sorry that might be a bug since i barely did any playtesting. It should basically be Q to select seed then left click to spawn it, it should spawn if it's on the correct tile. Right click is meant for canceling the placement of the plant.

That's an unlucky one :( I only managed to plant 2 seeds in my attempts at constantly spamming buttons & clicks :(
