Very polished, easy to pick up, fits perfectly into the theme! One of my favourites on this jam.

I'd only say that some of the windows were hard to close as they were on the sides of the screen and the mouse wasn't mapping too well and I could not really click some of them.

I was very impressed with the visual style! Good work on the graphics) I felt like a broker, haha

Very nice and simple! The only feedback  I can give is that there were times when I didn't have anything to do because I sold all my stocks.

I like this simple and well-presented stonks game. The post-processing is really nice, the ads are midly annoying just like the internet (also I got scammed once) and it really feels like there were some stakes involved.

Kind of a tiny feedback, but given that you can only buy limited stocks and the game lasts 60 seconds, my aggressive tactics meant that I would sometimes sell everything 30 seconds and be unable to do anything for the next 30 seconds. It would be nice if there was a way to auto-end, but it is just 60 seconds and adding that feature would literally go against the whole title of the game.

This is a nice game, good job!

Yes, I agree. I found that issue while playtesting but I didn't know what I wanted to do about it. Just decided to leave it in... Thank you for playing though!

That was great game to play through. I had a similar idea about unstable markets and I'm glad someone followed through fully on the idea. All the nostalgic effects were so well done, to the point when I accidentally clicked on the virus and got the blue screen I felt genuinely annoyed! Congrats, it's super polished and a simple idea done well, great entry. :)

Ha ha, thank you. I had a lot of fun making the game, especially the bluescreen of death ;)

This was surprisingly well put together and polished. I guess it's a simple concept so you had plenty of time to add juice to it :D Really liked the desings of the fake ads, and the whole thing is very consistent artistically. I guess my only suggestions would be to maybe add a bit more sound... Like, I think a bit of office ambience or some music (there's music in the menu, but not in the game) would have done wonders to it. But maybe that's just a matter of taste. Explaining the controls in-game would have also been nice, so that I don't have to go to the itch.io page to find out how to play.

Anyways. Nice entry overall! Good job!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I should have added a "How to Play" menu, I agree.

simple but fun! :)

Interesting take on the theme, and the game is beautiful !

I wish I was able to left and right click to buy and sell stocks,  but it's a detail.

Congrats on your submission !

Developer

I appreciate your input, and yes, I should have added a configurable control menu. Thank you!

visuals and audio are so good! I like the simplicity of it, one thing i think would be interesting is if the ads moved around a bit so they are harder to click x on, or other variety in how you turn off the ads. cool game though!

I greatly appreciate it, I'm glad you liked it. I agree with the ad difficulty, but I was afraid the ads would be too annoying. I experimented with different ads having chances to close and move to another location, but within 60 seconds, I lost many chances to sell/buy and became frustrated. I'm sure making the ads slowly move would've been a better solution :).
