Its a small platformer about reaching the shrines to asencd to kill the rain god

How does your game tie into the theme?
You have to collect pearls to unlock shrines. Last level you kill the rain yokai so he doesn't flood the earth.

Fun little entry! Really solid art and the audio felt fitting. The platforming is pretty tough but once you get used to it, it's doable. Great entry!

I wonder how the trip back down was. :P

Neat artstyle, well done

presentation-wise it’s amazing! though i think the platforming could use some work. good job nonetheless!

I really like the art style!

Really cool 2d painting art here. I love it. I wish the game would be a bit more forgiving. It is sometimes really hard to jump on the clouds. Esp. if they block me jumping up :D

Stunning graphics, congratulations! :D

I really loved the atmosphere of the game, the efforts you put in creating the backstory, the character movements and the backgrounds! I wasn't able to reach the end of this, and I regret not seeing the rain god picture :P

The gameplay is a bit punishing and requires a lot of precision... More than I could do. ^^" Maybe adding  a bit of tolerance to the obstacles will help newbies like me, or even increasing the contrast between the foreground and the background :)

Anyway - beautiful game, great job! :D

Amazing art and music, the game is definitely challenging!

Awesome art! Lovely art! Amazing art! Art! Art! Art! Lol the art is just too good, however like others have mentioned, some extra juice in the controls would have made it even more enjoyable to play. However, the graphics is so good that unless one plays for quite a while, they won’t really complain about the controls. So great work on the game!

Great entry! The backstory art and dialogue sets up the game theme so well!! I enjoyed the challenging nature of the platforming but would agree some coyote time/collision resizing is needed so you can still execute a jump while the player appears to be on the platforms!

Player animations, art, music and UI all really nice! Well done :D

Very well done and very challenging!

That was really tough - but it was the good, satisfying kind of tough. It goes without saying that the art was the highlight of this one - the environments in particular are stunning. And hey, we both made entries with shrine maidens!

Really lovely art style! Really enjoyed the backstory you created for the game as well. The platforming was a bit punishing. I think it would have helped to have a bit of coyote time and to make the hitboxes a bit more forgiving. I made it to what I assume was the final level and couldn't get past it. I think I'll come back later and give it another shot because I feel compelled to reach the end. Great job. :)

Thanks for playing and yeah I was trying to figure out how to make that work but couldn't get it in time for the jam haha
