The twist behind this is pretty interesting. It's very simple, but does what it sets out to do very well.

Beautiful little memory game. A bigger scale project with more levels based on this "light and memory" core mechanic could be very interesting. Good job.

Very cool, I like it a lot! Lighting up the nearby tiles is a really interesting twist on the match pair game. Good job, I'm glad you didn't give up!

Nice simple game, I like that when you fail a match both of your last selected tiles play the partcle effect and turn off. Good job!

A simple demonstration of what you could master as a beginner in Godot. The light cleverly reveals the things you're trying to match, as opposed to trying to remember where things are when you make a mistake.

Keep on learning, brother, and come back in January!

Thank you very much! I truly learned a lot in this jam, especially learning how to lay out my own process of developing game as a whole.

Visually this looks great, and I love how you implemented the theme - although it could make things a bit too easy? It's a neat idea though, can definitely be expanded. Like others here said, glad you didn't give up!

Thank you!

it's true that as more tiles light up, it gets easier. there were some game design idea that I thought a bit to spice things up (like only limit a certain number of tiles that light up or scoring that rewards correct match with dark tiles) but I didn't manage to polish around it and just went to implement the most basic ideas first with the time remaining in the jam

Neat idea and well executed! Sad there aren't more levels because I could see myself play this. Glad you didn't give up!

Developer

Thank you!
I just had no time because I was too preoccupied with how it looks at the beginning😔

but after the voting period ends, at least I want to add board with more tiles, I unexpectedly have more fun myself playing this 😁
