This is very fun! I love an rpg with a recruitment mechanic. It is a liiiittle overpowered though, especially if you recruit the sun. I think I found a bug btw. When I beat the 3rd special monster while the sun was still an enemy I lost the option to progress the battle. Overall, good job!!

Thank you for your feedback! I agree, I wasn't able to do as much with the ice mechanic as I would have liked. I'm glad you enjoyed the art!

It's very atmospheric! I love the controls and graphics. Although that pixelated filter does make it a bit hard to find resources. I see you're aware of the fire glitch so I'm curious to see how the game progresses. Good job everyone!!!

Wow thank you for the extensive and constructive feedback. Not sure I'll revisit this game but those are definitely things I'll want to fix if I do. Thank you for playing!

The art and music in this game are super cute! I love that the frog's eye's follow the cursor. Other comments have mentioned the physics stuff so I'll just say that the mechanic of picking up and throwing objects was really well done! There's just not a lot of space to use it effectively. Good job!

Thank you! Yeah, the ice melting could have been communicated better. It melts in the sun and re-forms in the dark, but the flamethrower is supposed to melt it a little bit faster. And yeah, you don't need it to finish the game. Thank you for playing!!

This is such a cute game! Both visually and the idea! I love the models. I will say it was a little unintuitive where the shadows would show up. It especially took me a while on level 7 to realize there was a window on the foreground wall. But it's impressive for the time limit!

thank you!

(1 edit)

This is super fun! The art also looks really nice and polished! It was a little hard for me though, I almost died in the tutorial. But I love the gameplay and twist on the theme!

I loved it! Good job and creative use of the theme! I like the point and click adventure game style.

I got to the end!! Thank you for those checkpoints. Good job, this was fun! Keep up the good work!

Just kidding! That was my fault for using Firefox. This is nice and relaxing! I wasn't clear how the desert was spreading, but I like the concept and the graphics!

Hi! Your game is not loading! I believe you need to enable SharedBufferArray in the game edit settings!

Not sure if this is a glitch or I was doing something wrong, but I couldn't move to the sides, only up and down. Cool concept, visuals, and music! I wish I could have played level 2!

This game is beautiful! The level layout was a bit confusing and I think I completely missed a dash pickup, but it was fun and creative!

Thank you for your feedback!

Ah, you're right. I didn't think about how that would come across, and that was careless of me. Thank you for playing and for your feedback!

Wow this game looks great. I love the dithering on the lantern light. Great job! I look forward to seeing more!

Thank you for the feedback! It is more punishing than I intended D:

I am so sorry! Thank you for playing!!!

Woah! This game is super polished. It was a little hard to see in the 2nd area when the color changed to green, but the other two areas were gorgeous!!! The city was my favorite. This game has an interesting movement system and I think it was implemented well!

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I'm learning now from the comments that the speed decrease was harder than I anticipated. I'll keep that in mind for next time!

I love the minigame collection idea! my favorite was the sliding puzzle one! Also the intro song is really good! Great work!!

Thank you!!

I played twice and got the nightmare ending both times :( Fun little demo for such a short time frame! Good job!

Wow, this game looks great and is a lot of fun! I liked that the goblin's fov was lit up and that they had footstep sounds to let you know they were getting close. I also liked how you taught the button mechanic with the elevator before it was used in the next section. You paid a lot of attention to user experience and it shows! Good job!

Woah, your UI is really cool and snappy! I like that pausing the game in a level gives you an overview of the level as well! The puzzles were really fun! Thanks for the game and keep it up!

Hey, we had similar ideas! Agar.io was also an inspiration for my game! It was really fun! I liked the art and the dynamic camera. However, I think I stopped growing from eating planets at a certain point. I stopped getting larger no matter how many planets I ate. Good job!!

The ui feels really nice to use and look at! The songs are great! My only complaint is that it's hard to tell which note is the "next" note when they're all coming from different directions (but I'm just bad at rhythm games so it's probably on me). Great job, I hope this wins!

This is excellent! I think the controls were a little floaty and could use some tweaking. It made levels a bit more difficult than I think was intended. But overall the art, music, concept, level design, etc. were all great! Loved seeing the little hamster get launched a million miles an hour from a hammer. Looking forward to what you do next!

Wow, you clearly wanted to do a lot in a short amount of time! I can see a lot of ideas going on here. Multiplayer, especially, is something that's hard to get right in a game jam time limit. Unfortunately the features that were not fully implemented or explained were a little confusing. Keep up the good work, though!

Oh whoops I commented on the game page instead of here. But, yeah, make more! I will agree with Carras it's a little hard to play as one player, but if it were truly multiplayer it would be a lot of fun I think!

This is a really cool concept! I had fun! I think you should definitely expand this into a full game. I'd like to see concepts like the gravity well and using the orb as a platform explored more and used to create more cool levels!

You're not an asshole at all! Thanks for the feedback! I know I didn't end up finishing the game I wanted to make in time, but I'm glad you thought it was a good start!

Well deserved winners. This game is very fun. Congratulations!

Thank you! Yeah, the controls felt sluggish to me too. I'll have to figure out what to do about that.

I'm glad that it looks like you're going to continue this after the jam bc this is a fun platformer! My tips: blind jumps are bad! At least with one-hit kills.

This was very fun to explore! You're really good at environments. It had a little bit of an undertale vibe.

Aw! I've used those same assets lol. Idk if there is something that chases you at the end but the "get out of here" and music were so threatening it was very convincing.
