The gameover audio is amazing :)
I got the pizza! :) I think its really cool you got your daughter involved in making this game. That must have been really fun. Great job! :)
Cool game. I liked the idea of taking the enemies powers. The controls felt a bit delayed and hard to get used to, but other than that, well done.
Great game. Controls could use some refinement. I love the VoiceOver! Parasite power is cool too. Nice job implementing coyote time on jumps.
I enjoyed my time with this. The enemy possession mechanics were interesting, and I liked that you could use them to approach problems in different ways. The flying enemies definitely trivialized the rest of the platforming... it probably would be a good balancing idea to put them on a timer. Voiceovers were adorable. Congratulations on completing your second GWJ, and great work!
Played this with my son (aged 5) he liked it and wanted to play it again. I personally enjoyed the voiceover!
It is surprisingly hard to make a platofrmer, and you have done a great job here.
Well done!
we came back to play again!
Thank you for playing! I'm glad you and your son enjoyed it. The voice over, sounds, music, title and script were all by my daughter (age 9). We had a lot of fun making the game!
awesome! My son now gives me ideas for games (although his ideas are so creative I normally have to tell him I can’t do it in time!). Loved your daughter’s input
I had fun with the game. Loved the sound effects and the artstyle and I thought possessing enemies was great. I didn't like how jump has some delay on it which makes it feel unresponsive and weird when going off ledges. The arrow keys to move and up to jump as opposed to the wasd + space standard also seems unintuitive. The tab to eject worm also feels very unintuitive.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I will have to add the wasd+space controls when I make platforms in the future.
