Fun concept, and pretty hooking gameloop

The idea is very creative! i would've like if the time between the waves was a little shorter since i mostly end a wave I just wait for the next one! Overall great !

This one’s very hard for me, but that’s because I am bound to my touchpad, seeing that my mouse doesn’t work anymore. It’s a simple yet fun game. Somehow I feel the pull to get back and test my mettle again. One downside is that the player is too dependent on the randomly generated upgrades each wave.

This one was enjoyed by the household (I played with my kids offering helpful comments!). We liked this concept and I think it's quite a standout idea from the Overcooked style ones I've played so far in this jam.

Excellent first GWJ entry!

Thanks for the submission! I had a lot of fun getting to wave 40. There's a definite difficulty curve to this game, but it peters out a bit at the top. It was interesting to have to not summon everything at once because I would need to depend on the summoned monster's AI to defend my forge the best. Good use of art / sound as well.

Probably my favorite game I've played so far gameplay-wise. I got to wave 18 and had to actually really focus on the last couple of waves to get through them. I can see this being fleshed out and becoming an actual game with a bit more power-up variety and maybe specific upgrade paths for the minions you choose to take. Overall super impressive :D

Really like the summoning concept for your minions! Made an interesting game loop having to leave the anvil to collect resources. I like the spinning wheel for getting random upgrades. Satisfying sounds and interesting upgrade choices. Perhaps there could be one additional layer of gameplay to give player an option for defending when they lose their minions? I was running into a difficulty issue where all my summons got wiped out, and my only real option was to spawn slimes. The spider minions didn't seem to have much health. Really fun game, wish there was some music to add a bit more energy to the gameplay! Congrats on the LD + Wild Jam expansion :)

I liked the concept of summoning spirits to protect you / the forge. I think the forge concept could have been pulled in a bit more. I unlocked crawlers but didn't see them when I summoned a spirit? Liked the change of pace of you defeating bad guys, and instead summoning spirits to beat bad guys. Liked that a lot!
