At the shop it says you buy food and fuel x10, but it seemed to only go up by 1. Also I wasn't sure how to get more money so the game quickly ended once I ran out. But the premise is interesting and it was pretty fun :) Also I was curious, why would a player ever choose "normal" or "high" food rations? What's the upside?

Thanks for playing it! Yeah the fuel/food quantity was an error, I changed the value in a label but forgot to actually change the code :D I don’t know if it is working properly in the game but a low food level should make the population growth negative so it will go down over time (very slightly) and high increases it above normal level. I was also thinking of having it affect the unrest level but didn’t get around to putting that in.

Very cool, I wasn't sure if the upgrades were necessary?  I kept clicking mine on the first planet because I didn't see anything happening and when I figured it out I had enough resources that I sold at the first planet to buy enough food and fuel to make the rest of the trip!

I enjoyed it.

Thanks for playing it! I don’t know if the upgrades are necessary :D I didn’t really get time to flesh them out and balance everything and they might not have any meaningful effect, I wouldn’t be surprised if the only way to win is to do what you did and get loads of minerals from the first planet to buy all the fuel and food you need!

This is really cool and I enjoyed playing it. The HUD is a bit overwhelming at first but once I got over that there were alot of really interesting concepts. I particularly like the idea of having to throw yourself into empty space for years on end trying to manage the ship while you wait to arrive at the next planet, that could be really fun if fleshed out. I do hope you consider working on this game a little more, I think an expanded version would be really good. Even if you don't I look forward to your future projects.

Loved this idea! The aesthetic was super, and the modelling for the planets and ship looks awesome. I did run into some bugs where, for the first leg of my journey, the 3x speed fast forward didn't work, and also on the uninhabited planets there seemed to be no limit to the number of minerals I could mine, so... free get-rich-quick scheme, all it takes is some natural resource exploitation :P If you ever plan on revisiting this game, I think I'd also have benefitted from a bit to do aboard the ship between planets; as it stands right now, it seems that there's no real reason to pick a further planet over a closer one if they have the same resource.

But in general, I *really* enjoyed the concept of having to manage your ship and choose your planets wisely. Got genuinely nervous watching the unrest counter tick up, haha. Congrats on a finished game!!

Thanks! Yeah that mineral button error was probably a good thing in the end as it may be that you can’t beat it otherwise :D I’m probably going to fix it up a bit so thanks for the advice on what could be improved.

I like it, it's a lot of fun.

I had a couple of issues, as it says fuel x 10 but only gives me 1 and I ran out of fuel :( Also, I wasn't sure how to get money, maybe I was unlucky picking inhabited planets!

Congrats on having a finished game!

Cool concept! I think this was the start of a cool game idea, one that I actually had a similar idea for in the past. The models and UI were nice. It was hard to tell how much fuel or resources a route would take, so it was difficult to predict what choices need to be made. There were also a few bugs: the shop said Food/Fuel x10, but you actually only get one. On the mineral planets, you can just spam the "mine minerals" button as long as you want. Keep at it!
