this was a really original idea! the environments looked great. if this gets expanded, you may need to add some more complexity because I did also tap out after the second level. overall this was really nice to play, great job. congrats on the submission!
Thanks for playing, and cool that you enjoyed it, yeah for now we don't have a really complex gameplay and we focused on having fun throwing food to the monsters
Some tutorial or explanation would have been VERY helpful. At the start of a new mechanic it's good to handhold the first use of it. I wandered around throwing watermelon at nothing for a long time before realizing there were animals to be fed. It wasn't clear to even be on the lookout for it.
Something as simple as once the watermelon / pineapple, etc is picked up the first time, the camera is forced to look at a creature pop up, Maybe even show a label for a moment like "It looks hungry"
As simple as that and you'd be golden. Level two was very pretty, i'd almost say lead with that one too rather than the library. Much more engaging environment to be in.
Thanks for the feedback! And I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Yeah, we should had spent some more time with the explanation of the mechanic, we surely will add something like that post jam
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream. If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod timestamped to your game
Hey thank you very much, really goodfeedback
It was a bit confusing to tell what to do at first, but the art, the level design and the music are beautiful
Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed it as I really enjoyed making it, the music by the great Grayson Varn @keyresonance
This is super adorable, a little hard to tell what to do at first but it turned out to be a chill time!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, not super straightforward, sorry for that, but was fun to make and I'm glad you enjoyed it
This is why I love indie games! Take me to another world, I don't want to play games to feel like I'm in real life... I'm already IN REAL LIFE! This experience did that for me. Transported me away for a few minutes. Really loved the environment and graphics. I did get a little worn out from the gameplay after making it to the second level and finding all of the fruit types. I decided to call it quits there. In my opinion, level 1 was enough, and the rest of the time coulda have been spent on a meaningful end-game cutscene! I did enjoy the walk around the second environment though :)
Overall, good work! Would like to see more from you guys in the future!
Thanks for playing, happy that you enjoyed it, I had fun making, sorry for the rough edges that surely needs polish
