really loved the lack of colour for the theme!

Good interpritation of a theme. The battary time could be shorter. The game has it's own atmosphere but I think it's lacking of some music

Developer

Glad you liked it! i was going to add music but i felt like it didn't really fit the atmosphere of the game and went with the slight background noise instead, appreciate the review!

I love the visuals of the game. The slight static, the jiggle of the cube and the lighting are just amazing. The gameplay is also fun, left me wanting more. I think if the battery time was a little shorter it would add a nice tension to finish the levels faster and make risky blind jumps. Other than that it's a very fun experience.

Great game! Really great feel and mood, visual and sfx

The audio is a phenomenal reminder that sometimes less is more: the audio is sparse yet effective.

Agree that the battery drain just didn't seem super important/strong. But I didn't mind, it really didn't affect my enjoyment.

I definitely owe a thanks to fnaf (and limbo) for the general atmosphere of the game and i'm glad it worked out. i did hope to explore the battery more but i'm just glad that it didn't affect the gameplay negatively. glad you like it!

Omg, the atmosphere and polish of this game is crisp. The light snaps you have for the flashlight and end of the level is suuuuch a nice touch. I also like how the player just has enough light to where navigation isn't terrible. I didn't really notice the battery drain that much. Didn't have the guy run out on me at all throughout each of the levels.

Fun stuff, would be cool to see what it looks like in the future if you choose to develop it!

glad you liked it! yeah there are couple of mechanics i feel like i didn't explore enough. but im just glad that they didn't harm the experience in general

Nice game! Limiting what you can see really adds an interesting layer of challenge.
It'd definitely be good to change the sudden flashing at the end screen of every level though, it feels way too bright and hurts the eyes as it contrasts with the regular dark theme of the game.

Developer

really appreciate it! Yeah looking back im not sure how i thought about making settings but completely forgot about adding brightness option.

Well made game. I liked the design and atmosphere. Could definitely see more gameplay emerging from these mechanics.

Developer

Really appreciate it! the atmosphere was the thing i mostly focused on so i'm really glad to hear that you like it

It feels super responsive and polished. I made it to the end and had my fun!
I liked the mechanic of hollow platforms.

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Thanks a lot! the hollow platform was my brother idea, I'm sure he would be honored

i just realized i also said that my brother would enjoy your game, you both seem to be on the same wavelength :D
