Really cool idea! It gave me some Outer Wilds vibes - mysterious things going on. The simulation was impressive for a jam game, and I liked how exploring opened up new controls and new things to explore. Really impressive job!
What a neat game! A planet simulator is such a big idea for a jam, it's inspiring to see it pulled off. I'd love to see the finished game with all the systems implemented sometime.
This is so cool! impressive that you manged to create a such an intricate simulation of a solar system.. in 3D.. in a jam! I also ran into the problem of the heat killing off my species when speeding up time in the last view, so I'm not sure what the solution is, but it was very fun to play around with. Solid submission!
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it.
Yes unfortunately due to time limitations I was able to incorporate all the elements I wanted to prevent you from dying before you win, so you just need to keep going and surviving the game over scene a couple of times.
This game is very interesting. I enjoyed the music and unique take on the theme. I think the ending could have been a little more improved, but thats how these jams seem to go lol (our last level was constructed 5 minutes before the jam ended) The motion of the stars looks cool as well. Overall, great submission!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it. Yes, time really limited the ending, most of the time went to the physics and camera work. With this being my first attempt at 3D it was quite a challenge.
This game was really cool and fascinating, I wasn't able to figure out the puzzle and find the solution to the Quad Quantity Problem though. My first playthrough I didn't even get the third view unlocked. Whilst there is a very solid tutorial, it still doesn't help me figure out what agency I have over this world, I can observe stuff but can't interact with anything? I wish the gameplay was a bit more clear as I'm genuinely interested in what can be done!
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it. I was running out of time and the "solution" to the question (or dare I say problem) is possible if you play long enough [you can speed up to find it], the implementation is a little a rough.
Well the problem is, wherever I speed up the planet gets too hot too fast no matter what view I seem to be in? Any hints, or am I just that slow x) ?
Yeah... did not really setup the ending very well, you need to die multiple times to win... sorry
