Great submission! I actually loved the controls, although it took me a while to figure out how Bird and Wish work. I'd say it's one of the better transforming-platformers I've tried this jam!

Very minor things with animations - it feels a bit weird that bird has no walking animation (given how much movement animation there is), and in many cases walking was my preferred method :)) And walking animation for the blob is a bit weird - looks like it's jumping.

Great submission overall!

That's odd. The bird should have a walking animation, albeit a subtle one where its basically just the legs moving. Just tried it on my windows build and it seems to still have it. Is it not showing up on your end?

I tried again - it looks like it works, just not with short steps. When I was bypassing lasers, I just incrementally moved a bit, and stopped moving before animation triggered? E.g. instead of pushing "left" I shortly pressed it a few times for precise movement, so it looked like there was no animation.

OH okay, I get it now. So the animations are based off of individual sprite textures that I just trade out in the animation editor. The issue with the bird is that the first sprite in its walk animation (which has like 4 sprites total) is basically the same sprite as used in its idle animation. So if you tap it forward a little bit, that fraction of the animation can be the only thing that plays, making it look like the bird isn't walking.
I'll keep that in mind for the next game to make the movement a little more immediate. That and the note you made about the walk cycle for the blob. Its not actually a jump at all but I can see how that looks like it in hindsight.
Thanks for the feedback!

The controls were a little stiff but it's a neat little game, and it ties very well into the theme !

Thank you!

This was a fun platformer! Bird controls were hard to get used to but it was fun when I got the hang of it!

Fairly solid and forgiving platformer (and I mean that in the best of ways!) though I did get a D grade (I assume because I died a bunch). Blob's still adorable. Surprisingly long too, I did not expect that! Levels are hard so congrats on that!
