Really cool entry! I always enjoy a nice mini golf game! I thought the erasing mechanic was really cool.

I feel like there could be some more stake in the game though. Maybe a limit to shots made, or a limit to how much you can erase. The erasing mechanic felt iffy at times, I wish there was an indicator as to the area I would be erasing specifically (like a little circle).

It’s really well done overall, some small improvements could make this a really good game!

I like how this entry is very unique - I don't even know when I've last seen a game inspired by mini golf!

However, I see a lot of room for improvements here. Firstly, the grass mechanic could've been a little more polished. You can completely ignore it and play normally, and it even makes the game easier because you can use the tall grass to instantly stop the ball. I know the player is supposed to beat the levels with as little moves as possible, but the players will ALWAYS take the easiest route - in this case, abuse the grass to make the levels easier. Also, l wish there was a shortcut to switch modes since moving the mouse around at all times is kinda annoying imo. Lastly, clearing the grass should be easier and more satisfying, as the ball can collide even with the smallest piece of grass sometimes.

Adding to my previous gameplay point, there's little motivation to play the game the way it was intended to. But adding a really simple score system would fix a big part of that problem.

Anyways, this is a step in the right direction, great job!

Thank you for the feedback. The grass is indeed not completely polished, but perhaps the ability to play the game without mowing the grass is just a mimic. Nothing is as it seems :D

Interesting little game - this could go in some really interesting directions. Nice simple use of sound and graphics -well done. The thing I wished for most was a score/par system, to measure my success against (and then a re-try button if I didn't make a level within par). Also, I think I would have liked it more if there were two phases - first a mowing phase, and then a putting phase, and you had to pre-think all your mowing before the putting. Was there any cost to the mowing? Could you just clean out the entire area? I did use the un-mowed grass a couple times, tactically, when I knew I wanted a breaking mechanic in case I was in danger if I putted too hard.
There might be a small bug where the lawn mower gets a little confused when you mow outside the play area... when I returned the mouse to the area sometimes it seemed the mower wasn't mowing.

I like the mowing as the erase feature. It was fun to play. The ball physics occasionally would make the ball bounce in a direction that didn't seem natural though.

Did not expect to see a minigolf game in this Jam, but i think the idea is pretty fun to be honest. As mentioned before, sometimes the wall bounces are weird, but otherwise a cute little game.

I love a good, creative golf game! I got thrown off by some weird bounces off the wall, but otherwise the momentum and physics felt great!

One of the best games I've ever played!
