A fun challenging game with a twist on gold bars ๐๐ฎ.
GAMEPLAY
The concept of initially static and later moving gold bars offers a deceptive simplicity that evolves into a greater challenge. This escalating difficulty is engaging and kept me on my toes. The additional strategic element of deciding when to stop to secure a spot on the leaderboard adds depth to the gameplay, making it not just about skill but also about smart decision-making and not wait to long and be greedy and fail the board. Nice idea.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
The graphics are solid and effectively serve the game's concept. Enhancing the visual appeal of the gold bars gameplay element could add a polished touch.
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The background music is well-chosen, enhancing the game's atmosphere. The shift in music as the challenge intensifies is a nice touch, adding to the tension and excitement of the gameplay.

I like the change of music when the yellow zones start moving. It's a very nice detail.
I agree with the other comment; spamming spacebar would be even better. I would suggest adding some sound effects on spacebar press and when the line enters the yellow zone. The highlight of the yellow zone when the line enters could also be more noticeable.

Nice simple game. It would be good if we can probably spam the spacebar while its in the yellow bar so have more risk to the game. Leaderboard is a nice feature to add for some competitive users.

Simple but a very interesting game, this definitely fits the consequence theme where if you get caught, you arenโt gonna be getting away with the money you stole (And this results in no leaderboard score being submitted).
Some feedback would be showing when you took the money from the yellow bar already and maybe making variation occur more early on in the game because in the first 20 points you steal, you just need to press space bar every few seconds without thinking about aiming too much.
In any case, good job on the game, I also appreciate the global leaderboard in it and I submitted under the name โAtomic Antโ!
Neat. I laughed a bit when I escaped with zero gold bars and the message said how my criminal friends would be proud and no one knew it was me... who stole nothing XD. If you ever tweak the game, it would be fun if stealing 0 gold bars got you a different message,
Interesting little game, very simple gameplay but i liked the Highscore
