How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme "Two Points of View" by showing Debbieās life in two ways: her daily reality and a dream world. The player experiences both sides, discovering how they connect through her journey.

Nice pixel art I did not get point of the game
Moody game! I reached the āTo Be Continuedā screen, so I assume Iāve seen everything so far. The atmosphere was well-crafted, and the palette was used effectively to enhance it. The music also complemented the moody vibe—calm yet a bit dark. Story with a message in it. Sometimes the movement was not completely smooth, but no troubles getting the jobs done and progressing further into the story.
Iām curious to see what happens next after slaying the monster. The theme was incorporated, and the game now has a solid foundation for more. Great work—keep it up! š
Hi. I'm stuck on the phone. Press T does not escape it and I see no other way to leave.
(Just out of curiosity, what is the screen size of this game and is it set to stay that size, because even full screened, the right edge of the texts are cut off a bit and I can't see the very top or bottom of the phone. My screen about 1300x760.
Hey, thanks for letting me know. The game is set to 1920x1080, which might be why it doesnāt fit your screen. Iād recommend trying to zoom in the browser view (Ctrl + Plus). There's an off button at the bottom of the phone which you can click to continue with the game. Let me know if that helps!
That would explain it. I tried zooming both in and out, but no change. I find it odd because usually Unity games scale really well when fullscreened. Maybe you can figure out how to make the screen size more flexible post jam. Still frustrated I won't be able to rate it at this point, but fortunately it sounds like enough other participants have big screens :)
P.S. I had a slightly similar frustrating fullscreen issue with my software GDevelop at one point that when I tried to fullscreen my games, it would only stretch the window to the right instead of increasing the size of its contents and there was no intuitive way to fix it, so until I finally got some tips for another dev, I just couldn't add that feature at all :(
Thank you so much for giving it a shot anyway. Iāll definitely work on fixing the scaling issues post-jam, I had no idea this would be a problem. This is only the second game Iāve ever made, so Iām still learning, but I really appreciate your patience and feedback :)
You're welcome. Good luck!
game with a very strong message imho. With the help of the music and dialog makes it a whole package. I also think you spend a lot of time on making appealing assets for your game.
Just found some minor bugs, most notable is that sometimes when walking you would be stuck in a frontward animation. But that is not something that takes away of the experience of tis game
Thanks! I actually used an asset pack and just tweaked the colors—thatās the only reason I got so much done š
That's a good way of doing it for gamejams that allow that, and you still took the time to recolor all the assets. Work smarter not harder and that is what you did :)
I thought the phone vibrating at the beginning was mine. That aside, interesting demo. The sound effects really added to the experience, especially the realistic sipping. The real world being red and orange to contrast the mirror world was a great touch. It might be nice to have the option of texting certain things in the phone, and I reckon half the phone assets are placeholder ATM?
Would love to play when it's done.
Thanks for playing! Youāre not the first to think the vibration was real š. Glad you liked the sounds and colors! And yep, some phone assets are placeholders for now. I'll be adding more interactivity to the phone!
Cool! Reminds me of games from the GameBoy / DS era. The idea of exploring two realities is really fun, and the controls felt decent. The inclusion of the phone as a story-driving element was interesting. I could see this becoming a full game novel type series.
Thanks!
