Good Introduction but long nice a way to skip it.  There seem me way to much gray. Trying to get throw the maze with time travail is a good idea.

A good foundational prototype for what could become a fun, detective-style puzzle game with some updates. With some clever puzzles that need switching. The theme was present, and the colors from the palette were used but not all colors seemed correct... The controls already worked good for me in this version. Sound effects? Check!

Maybe adding some background music could enhance the atmosphere further. The big chunk of text at the start felt a bit overwhelming. Including some visuals or presenting that information during the gameplay might be more engaging. It’s a shame there wasn’t much content yet, but I’m curious to see more in the future. The foundation is definitely there—great job! Keep it going! 😊

Thanks for the feedback ! Yeah it's just a protype we planned much more fun mechanics and gameplay but could make because we ran out of time. I want to make a cut scene for the intro but due to time limit I only added a simple dialog system for the intro. And also, this demo has sound FX and Music try to change settings with option panel in the main menu or pause menu in the gameplay .The main gameplay of this game follows the theme and uses the colors of the palette they might appear different cause off dark lighting and for the grey grid part I uses Pro builder for the prototyping and I asked about it on the discord server about the uses of asset and the material. Maybe I just misunderstood something, but those grids were completely unintentional and I have no intentions to break the theme of the jam. And its my first jam as I lead the whole development part of this project 💀 with amazing and talented teammates (story writing, dialog writing, level design and sound artist) I m really proud what I have made in this short period of time and love to work on this project after the jam :)

You should definitely be proud! It is a nice foundation for a bigger game :-)!

Ah, I thought you asked whether you can use Probuilder and that is certainly so.
Maybe I did not explain it good enough. But I shall try to do better next time. No worries about the material!

Sorry I guess I misunderstood this but will try my best for next time :)

A truly fantastic idea! Of course, it’s not fully developed yet, but the potential is enormous. For example, I could imagine a completely overgrown bookshelf in the present blocking a passage. In the past, where it isn’t overgrown yet, you could move it to clear the passage in the future. Puzzles like this could make the gameplay really exciting and varied.

Here are a few additional ideas:

To make the transition between the past and present more noticeable, you could apply a filter to the background music, making it sound like it’s coming from an old radio. Alternatively, you could use a sepia post-process filter. These additions could enhance the vibe even further.

I felt like I was controlling both characters simultaneously. If that’s intentional, that’s fine, but I believe it would be more interesting and make more sense if one character remained in the past while the other stayed in the present. I went through the first door in the past and switched to the present. Afterward, I ended up in an empty room in the present with no door. I understand it’s just a concept, but you should consider making it so that the character in the present stays exactly where they are when switching between timelines.

Implementing the intro as a comic would be an excellent fit and add extra charm to the story. The basic idea of the intro is good, but I think refining the texts with ChatGPT could help the story shine even more and make it more emotionally engaging.

I’m excited to see how the project evolves—keep it up!

Fun idea. I don't think the colours are properly done tho.

Anyways, I think the concept is creative and has potential.

I enjoyed the idea, i expected more time based games in this jam. so with the theme you are good.

The colors (and maybe its because of lighting) seemed not to really match (the gray walls with gray grid). i expect you used it for prototyping and ran out of time to change them.

My advice would be to start with a bit smaller levels and make them perfect before you make larger levels.

Only other thing i really noticed was that mouse sensitivity could be a bit higher.

For a 10 day jam this is a very good attempt though

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah we didn't have enough time to finish it. We are waiting for the jam to be over to continue working on it.

Definitely found myself wandering a bit much but this is a prototype so I'm sure proofreading and similar things will be added in the future. There are a lot of unique ideas one can come up with involving puzzles for this, and perhaps even unlocking a future timeline later would be a fun idea. I wish I had more to say about the presentation, but I appreciate how fast the text progresses so pat yourself on the back for your pacing. Sometimes, it's the little things that stick out.

Hmm Future Timeline Interesting may you have missed some of the notes ;)

And because of bad time management the level of this game done in just 2 hours before the submission. There are ton of mechanics we wanted add but we couldn't but stay tuned for next update.

Understandable. Good luck with the update!

Interesting concept you have here. I have always been fascinated by time travel mechanics in video games. The time travel concept in this game is confusing to me in the fact that doors that existed in one point in time do not exist in another point in time. This left some areas completely cut off and not really making a lot of sense. As of right now, I am not really sure what the point of the game is, I kind of just wandered around until I made it to the end. On that note, I understand this is a demo and I am very interested in seeing what this game becomes in the future.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, this is just a prototype. After the jam is over, we will continue working on the game. Level design is one of the things we need to work on.
