What a satisfying experience! I really enjoyed the game’s atmosphere—it’s calm and lets you think at your own pace, without any pressure or anything like that, creating a cozy and welcoming vibe.
And what can I say about the mechanics? They were incredibly well-thought-out! It doesn’t just bring two perspectives (as I initially thought) but four! That was a plot twist for me since I hadn’t noticed the indicator at the top right away.
That said, I believe there could have been a bit more explanation about how to fully utilize and understand the mechanics. I managed to finish the game by simply trying, failing, and trying again, which I don’t think was the intended approach.
Perhaps adding some gradual levels to showcase how each perspective works would greatly help players grasp and internalize the entire process. But don’t get me wrong—this didn’t significantly detract from the experience. In fact, it highlighted how well you crafted the game. Not everyone can design puzzles that encourage players to rely on their intuition like this. Excellent work!
An engaging mechanic, relaxing music, fun gameplay, and great sound effects. Congratulations on the game, and I wish you the best of luck in the jam!
Thanks for playing!
I struggled a lot with making the game fun... initially, it was completely trial and error and the safe zones which show you where you can switch without failing were added at the last minute.
I also considered a shader that gives the blocks a little opacity and white so they do not disappear and so you can better understand the level. However, since this was against the rules, I simply deleted faces to make you "look through" and rotated the camera a little faster so the hack was not completely visible.
I will maybe reiterate the game and use some of the feedback. thanks a lot for playing!
A nice puzzle game that cleverly incorporates the theme with the views as a fun concept, and the colors from the palette are also used… check!
It was enjoyable to play, and the first levels served as a nice tutorial. Everything looked good—polishing was well done, with a clean UI and main screen. The music fit perfectly, and the sound effects added to the experience. The background track was calming, which was nice for solving the puzzle routes.
For me, solving the puzzles in the later levels often came down to trial and error. I mostly tried all paths until I got closer to the endpoint. That was probably not the intended way to play, but even with all the provided information, I couldn’t always find the correct path on the first try.
Still, I had fun and enjoyed the game! Visually smooth and the controls were smooth and easy to understand also. With a bit more polishing and maybe some clever UI tricks to help players better find their way to the endpoint, it could become even better. The main character's animations were also clean and cool.
All in all, a very nice entry for our jam—good job! 😊
Thank you very much. I had a lot additional ideas I wanted to implement but since I am not very experienced in game development struggled a lot (and I mean A LOT!) by some easy tasks like "how do I get the animation to my character" "How does the state machine work in unity"
Thanks for hosting this Jam! Was a pleasure
Great game! Very polished.
I enjoyed the fact that you had multiple levels allowing to experience the mechanic fully.
The whole experience was good, but I feel like there is something missing. I felt myself going through the puzzles, sometimes by trial an error, never experiencing those satisfying moments you usually get from these kind of puzzle platformers, when the mechanics click in your brain. Sorry I can't give you more concrete advice than this feeling.
I know exactly what you mean. When I was halfway through, I thought, "This isn’t as much fun as I was hoping—it’s basically trial and error."
I think with another week of development, I could add more levels that capture the intended feeling. Things like buttons, levers, movable obstacles, and a shader to make blocks above you fade out so you can see through would make a big difference.
Thanks for your feedback!
this game broke my head, I completed a couple of levels and became incapacitated
I am sorry =(
no need for apologies this is the true purpose of puzzles I liked the game it’s just very difficult to understand you are a very good game developer!!!
Right off the bat, I'm immensely surprised by how professional the presentation is. The title screen is well-animated to put it lightly. The tutorialization is perfectly visualized. No complaints there, except possibly I would have added some extra music.
The perspective change is really cool. My favorite part is how the background color changes depending on the player's angle. I wish there were more sections where I could run in a straight line to mix things up. Perhaps you could extend the game a few levels for a full release?
By the by, I was reminded immensely of echochrome. Was that intentional? One of my favorite PSP games, so thank you for allowing me to feel some nostalgia for it again.
Thanks for your review! I am still juggling with the idea of a full release. I still think the "fun" part ist coming to short
The safe zone idea is so good! It made the puzzle a lot less frustrating but still not too easy. I played the browser version and the little guy on the title screen disappeared when i went full screen.. That's definitely not a issue for a jam game though. Such a good game!
Those safe zones were a last minute addition. While playtesting with friends one said "This is trail and error - I don't like games which force you to do so". Most people suggested to work on the minimap but I found an indication inside the world way more intresting.
The browser bug is an known issue but I don't know how this happens. After all this is my first game I have ever finished :D Thank you very much for playing!
I loved it!! The animations are really polished and the game is really fun to play!! The gravity change is also really fun. It really shows how much work and love you put on it =D
Thank you for playing and I am happy you enjoyed it!
My head! 😂 Got stuck in the third level for way too long and thought I'm too stupid for such a game. Eventually actually finished it. Took me nearly until the last level to understand that we are switching between top down and sideview with switching gravities... It's like my brain gets resets every time the world rotates. Makes me wonder how such a game would be in 3D where you can see everything and maybe plan better.
Great use of the theme and color palette. Though technically these are more like Four Points of View instead of Two 😉Just kidding.

Thats what the gravity shift is for. With this even if you look from below it still looks like you are looking from top ;) So still 2 - top and side !
Thank you for playing
Very cool game, I liked it. Could use more indication of when you're going to walk off the edge, it just looked like I was falling through the floor until I understood how the game worked. Maybe different y/z (depending on perspective) levels could be a different color? It was fun to puzzle out how to get where I was going, and it reminded me of Fez!
The idea was that you use the sideview to get a batter understanding on where you need to go and to flip gravity. Then you go into top view and choose a save area which then lets you figure out the way.
After some playtests I realized that people always try to run from the side view even tho I thought I had reached them they will fall. I was thinking about making a little more with transparency after the jam. So you could look a little more through.
Fez - even tho I never played it - was the game I had in mind while designing the animations. Good catch! Thank you for playing
Cool game. nice and calming music fun gameplay.
I know the memorization of where the safe parts are is a feature of the game. but for me personally it would have been more fun than to just fall trough the floor for no apparent reason. i feel the game would still be an interesting puzzler then. But what you have is well executed fits the theme very well
Hey, thanks for your feedback! The addition of the safe spots was done last minute. I had a few playtesters which became very desperate very fast. It became more a trail and error game. I tried to balance it with the areas and this made it way easier. But a lot of people still say it is too hard.
Really cool game! I am not very good at it though lol, i felt myself getting frustrated at some levels because i couldnt really figure out where i needed to go but when i eventually did find the correct way to go it was a good "aha!" moment. The simplistic visuals are also very nice since they dont get in the way of your gameplay. There were some bugs but that is to be expected from a game jam like this :). I do want to mention since im very picky that the sound effects sometimes were a bit off and especially that "Ding!" that you hear when you finish a level, it was a bit load and distracted from the calm atmosphere of the game a bit. Other than that great and well made game that fits the theme perfectly!
Thank you for your review and for playing it. I have a lot of trouble finding the right sound. I am not very good with audio but I found everything was coming together nicely. If you have some suggestions I would be happy to hear them =)
Good game, a little frustrating at some points but also intuitive enough to figure out how to finish most difficult levels. Art and visuals are very good and minimalistic and it makes the game look clean. Great job!
Thank you very much!
Your game reminded me a lot of a game called crush 3d. I found it to be a wee bit too difficult to fully understand for my liking, but this is a very unique takes on the two perspectives prompt. This is the type of game I would be blown away seeing if it got speedran.
Thank you very much for playing. I googled Crush 3d and I can see what you mean =)
I would love to see at least a few more levels! This is a very unique game with an interesting perspective-based mechanic. The intuitive controls and clean interface perfectly complement the core gameplay mechanics.
Thank you so much!
I like the idea a lot! Really creative
Real hard tho 😅 I found it confusing some times
Yepp - typcial problem of "I think this is to easy" after developing it for 100h and playtesting it like most of the time.
THE GAME IS HARD BUT COOL IDEA
Thanks for playing =)
