Very Good !!!
Thank you very much!
Красиво прорисованная игра. Зелье влияет на пациентов.... Звуки интересные. А где воспоминания?
The art was amazing! I loved the simplicity of it and their charming quirks. The sparks of colors used among the black and grey was curious and I couldn't help but wonder if it was for simplicity or if it meant that there was more meaning behind the colors. It was a fun idea being a doctor for the heebie-jeebies and creepy crawly and what goes bump in the night.
I absolutely love this comment! haha Thank you for taking the time to try my game, and I'm really pleased that you enjoyed it!
I liked the overall mood of this game! The art was great and I liked the music! I also really liked that all the ingredients got shuffled around so you had to go through and find the one you need. Good Job!
Thanks for giving it a shot! I was actually quite unsure of whether I should shuffle ingredients or not, so I appreciate the feedback on that. I definitely had my hands full with the art + music side of things this past weekend haha
I really hope you take this a bit further and polish it up after the jam! Your character art is wonderful, really really loved all their poses and expressions, they told so much of the narrative. The potion puzzles are fun albeit a bit simple, I think you could make the plants effects a bit more generic so it's not quite as easy to apply them to very specific cases, or even require more than one ingredient for harder puzzles.
The order of applying water and mixture and flowers didn't seem to matter, and right now the water and mixture feel like busy-work - in an expansion maybe they could be turned into more of a mechanic on their own.
For the gamejam content itself my biggest feedback would be to change the font as it's not the most readable, both in dialogue and on the plant descriptions, and makes it a bit hard to follow along with things intuitively. I'd also suggest that dialogue with customers should start up as soon as you go to the dialogue screen, and that there should maybe be a way to record what the customer has said, because if you fail to pay attention once there's no way to go back and take another look.
It has a lot of potential!
I seriously appreciate you taking the time to write such a thorough review, with such specific constructive feedback. This game is the first thing I've ever made that I have actually considered working on after the jam, and having these points to refer to is very helpful moving forward. Thank you very much for your feedback!
The game is very fun; I especially enjoyed creating potions. However, I think more could be done with this system. I liked it.
Thank you, and I totally agree! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I had fun playing A Witch's Cure. I really liked the potion making mechanic. I liked the art, writing, and music; in this regard, I think you totally nailed the aesthetic you were going for. Dragging and dropping the ingredients into the cauldron was cool. As I began to understand what ingredients to use for the potions the gameplay started to become really easy but in a vacuum its a pretty cool implementation that lends itself to a more complicated game design.
Thank you very much! I appreciate your feedback, and I will definitely work on making more interesting potions combinations moving forward. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
I enjoyed this game. The artwork and characters are very charming. I was left wanting more customers lol. Well done!
Haha Thanks so much! I have plans to continue this game and making more potions/characters to have fun with. I'm really glad you enjoyed my game!
