I only got one ending (Unsure how to get the other) and I really REALLY liked the sound design and atmosphere of this game. Top notch and some of the best in the jam! However, the story and gameplay were not at the same level. The voice acting was alright, but the story itself was a bit more of a mystery and kind of bland on its own. The gameplay was also just OK with moving around to find items to proceed, but I never saw the 'bad guy' as it were, and left without incident. So I feel I may have missed out of a cool scare, there.

It was super fun to watch the gameplay! At the end, right when you decided to run to the exit, the famous creature that gets stuck in the kitchen door frame should have been chasing you, if it catches you then you see the other ending, for obvious reasons all escaped hahaha. Unfortunately, the bug never happens on my computer (I didn't test it too much either). This is the first "game" attempt I've made in my life, and seeing people's comments has really opened my perspective on where I need to take the project. Thanks for everything Hawk!
I´ll be honest, the atmosphere and sound design is the best part about this, i like the story and mystery, i just think the voice acting and writting really get in the way of making it a fully scary experience, i also wish you used the mechanic of remembering more in the game, not only for clues but also for story and adding more depth to the main character. Overall, pretty alright game!
PS. There is a glitch or mistake in the subtitles of the 3rd tape in the game, don´t know if it was just me.
Awesome job with this! The sound design and atmosphere was crazy and had me on my toes the whole time! I also liked the story and that you had some voice acting in there! I'm happy I got out of the house without any jumpscare because I was already terrified haha!
Super well done! :D
The atmosphere and the sound design were absolutely fantastic, very creepy (and the creature too). I have to say though, I wasn't really a fan of the items appearing in previously visited areas, and some items were hard to see. But other than that, I think this is a great entry with a lot of potential and I quite enjoyed it.
Wow, fantastic job on the horror, this one really had me spooked! The idea of something pulling her hair out at night was creepy, and really original. And props for having it all fully voiced, amazed at how much you got done in the time.
I would've loved an "interact" prompt when I was looking at something I could pick up, a couple of the tapes and keys were really tricky to spot. The layout of the house was also a bit bizarre, I don't know if it was an intentional choice but I spent a lot of time going in circles.
Really great work overall though, the sound design was on point. One of the best I've played in the jam!

I did get a pretty unfortunately timed bug just as (I guess) it was reaching a climax, as the AI got stuck on the kitchen door and there was nothing I could do except run into it and die. A shame, because you built up to that moment beautifully, and then I could just stand there staring at it stuck in the door haha. A completely understandable bug in a game jam game, but just wanted to mention it in case you were wanting to polish it up later.
LOL, definitely a bug that ruins everything. I have to redo the AI practically, it was done in the last few days in a hurry :(. Thanks for the feedback! There are several users who had a hard time finding things, I guess I need to make them a bit more visible. When you look at an interactable object the cursor grows, but very few people noticed the detail, I'll have to change the idea with something else like showing a key.
let's say "yes" It has practically no code so I don't know if I should call it AI but there is a creature that should appear at the end of the game, but I made a mistake by putting the hitbox inside a wall before publishing the game and sometimes it gets unstuck and chases you, other times it gets stuck in the kitchen frame.
oh wow what a good game. I really like the story and the voice acting is very well done. The game crashes twice on me but I managed to escape the building and get an ending. Great job!
