This was legitimately my favorite game I've played in this jam! Super polished, both the shovel and the rifle felt great to use, and the digging mechanic felt great and strategically useful. The game looked and sounded great. Overall, fantastic work! If this game had a lot more levels I would definitely consider buying it.

And i am currently working on an expansion based on this game, it's going to have the same gameplay, but the theme isn't going to be the Vietnam War, it's going to be more post-apocalyptic, sci-fi/WW1 inspired.
I wished there were more levels, I had a great time playing it.
the digging mechanic is solid, I love it and I wish the game was a little easier because the enemies spot me before I do and shoot first most of the time. Overall, good job.

Unfortunately one level was the max i could do in one week, since i put a lot of focus on the mechanics and visuals/sounds.
And indeed, I tried to use accurate objective information to ground the theme of the game so people playing could at least understand that the real war was very destructive, and not exactly entertaining as the game can be.
I feel you for the short on time thing I had the same issue with man
what I meant by only one level is that people would really love to play so much more of this game me included, now that you have the mechanics working and so the visual and art adding more levels is a piece of cake for you
I liked the massage of the game that war isn't entertaining

Really enjoyed the artwork. The digging mechanic was fantastic and I think there is something there to be expounded upon should you continue working on the game. The thrill of sneaking up on an unsuspecting soldier, digging the ground out from beneath him and bonking him on the head was legendary.

[Secret]aryReally well-made game. Love the shovelling mechanic and how the character starts from the top of the tree. The graphics and gameplay are solid and no real issues with gameplay. Excellent game!
