I'm an accountant irl so when I thought of The Biboo Tax, this was not the kind of game I was imagining.

This game made me laugh so much!! I'm really enjoying it. I haven't cleared it yet but I was definitely try again later this weekend. Love the sprites and the dialogue. Great job!

Really fun but as you mention in the game page, the difficulty level is a bit too high.

Great sprites and funny references and dialogues!

I only managed to reach the second checkpoint after at least 10 tries in the previous wall jumping section and gave up at the pebble throwing section. I kept running out of pebbles before I could continue on.

I'm curious about what happens next, but I don't have the patience/skills to keep trying.

Will give the "toned down" version a try once it's out. :)

The dialogue are funny and really channels the character they are referencing well! It is also impressive that you are making the sound effects on your own.
Gameplay is fun, and the pebble stuff is really unique, but I am personally not a fan of the mandatory pebbles segments. The part with Ina is fine as she warns you to save 2 beforehand, but at most times it gets ambiguous if you are meant to use the pebbles on certain occasion or save it for later. Ultimately, it discourages me from using any pebbles at all even though it is such a cool mechanic.
Maybe this can be resolved by revealing the full map to the player and letting them plan their moves ahead beforehand, or have an NPC that refills your pebbles on mandatory segments (the tutorial described this, but I dont really see it used often)
Great job otherwise!

Love the references and fourth wall breaking in the dialogue. The audio design is also fantastic. The movement from launching pebbles are also really satisfying. The only small gripe I have is that some jumps are quite precise if you're not used to platformers. Great work!
