This is really neat! I never played mystery dungeon before so I wasn't sure what I was doing at first but I really enjoyed the unique battle system. Would have loved to see more!
There's a lot of potential to make this a larger project, and considering your busy schedule you were able to accomplish a lot! If you ever take this further I'd recommend a system that can make objects blocking character / enemy sprites transparent.
This is a really good base! I really like the perspective and movement. You should definitely keep working on this frfr... could become an awesome experience!
also, music and sound effects for sure 😌
The combat system is really interesting. Nice work!
I wish the battle log passed faster so the player can get back into the action more quickly.
Definitely keep working on improving this game!
I like the idea and mechanics, I try to escape from the last shrimp but the shrimp's turn always come over unless I defeat it
Really interesting demo you have here. Everything functions as it should, to be able to code something with this complexity during your final term exam period is really impressive.
I wish battles were faster though. I feel that the delay between each message takes too long, maybe shorten the delay or make it skip-able?
Looked great so far. could use instructions and loved the mystery dungeon idea
Were you able to figure out how to attack?
Tab to bring up the menu. When you are in combat, there will be a "moves" option
