Pretty cool concept! I think the enemy aggro range needs a little tuning since it's way too low, and you can just destroy each ship without them even starting to move. I'd also suggest adjusting the audio, it's currently a little too loud and doesn't loop. Still a solid entry!
Nice Game! The Enemy Ai though seems to be a bit Buggy. After I shot 1 Enemy, all other Enemies stopped moving and stand still. Sometimes Enemies who were still moving appeared but its more of a Rarity. The Game did Lag in the Browser Version but downloading did indeed seem to fix that Problem.
Lagged a bit in the windows version as well, and the sail blocking your view in camera mode made it hard to shoot forward. Sailing around shooting cannons is always a good time! The boat bouncing against the water goes a long way in selling the movement.
I really like the idea of having more than one AI. Imagine if I could have four AIs assigned to all Gen3 members and have a battle royale in the ocean of mine. Haha
There's definitely a lot of room for improvement here, but it's a good start.
Pretty fun game.
The game bugged when I tried to replay after losing the first time so I refreshed the page.
After that, the enemy AI seems to have broken because they stopped moving. I got up to 20 merch before I stopped.
The enemy death animation seems to cause a lag spike. I suggest having the animation ready but hidden and reusing it each time an enemy is defeated as opposed to instantiating a new one each time.
Also, setting a goal would be nice too. For example, if you collect 10 merch you get an ending with a happy Marine.
Overall a nice entry.
thank you so much david
