Description
My soundtrack for the Impressions Composing Jam: Imagination #2

The way I interpreted the theme of "The Far Reaches" was thinking about the journey to a far away place, and to be more specific, I had the thought of a dangerous place that's very hard to reach, an unknown place where you have to be aware of your surroundings, although the illustration showed a far away place that was kind of peaceful, I tried to deviate a bit, I don't know if it was because of the waterfall or not, but for some reason I though of water and then that turned into the depths of the ocean.

So... I tried to create some sort of tension/frenetic feeling, also the flute sound I found kind of reminded me of a sonar ping, so it fits the underwater theme.

I feel like the title is quite self-explanatory, it's not that deep hehe :)

Thanks for listening :D

random fact about this soundtrack: the whole underwater thing wasn't the first idea of a "dangerous far away place", at first the whole thing was very space like but I gave up on that idea after the first week :p (maybe i'll revisit that idea at some point)

Some cool sounds here! Definitely could see this in a video game!

the tension definitely comes through. I get submarine vibes. I think some more variation over the course of the track would help keep listeners engaged. within that 2-chord loop there's room to play with dynamics, phrasing, expanded melodic ideas - stuff in the vein of the pizzicato part toward the end.

Interesting composition. I think maybe it gets a little repetitive. I think the vibe i get is more industrial.

Solid work though. Good job!

It's an interesting take on the theme, I like the song but have some mixed feelings on it, think you could do some melody improvements, that last picazzo lick tho, is top!
The mix is very chiptuny? I do see it fiting in a retro style game

Take care :)

This sounds very unique, the only negative is that it gets a bit repetitive after a while but other than that I really like this one.

I think for three minutes it's fairly repetitive, but it's certainly not bad. I think you nailed your underwater theme goals quite well, and you should be proud of that for sure.
