Description
The theme for this jam was The Lost City, which I decided could either be VERY ominous, or rather mysterious. I went with the latter, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Description of Setup (Optional but recommended)
The main intrument was a flute belonging to the Essential Keys Soundfont(https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/home), which I created an ascending arpeggio of the base melody. I also used the Rhodes Bell EP(same soundfont) to as the assisting base playing the A5 chord with diminishing velocity to give a fading effect. The counter melody halfway through was achieved with the same flute instrument as before, but instead of playing quick notes I stretched them out to be more pronounced. During the climax I added a third melody, played by the Warm Pad(same soundfont again), which I feel accents the whole piece, before transitioning into an outro, although the track could be looped without too much difficulty.

The ostinato is perhaps a little dynamically too mechanical which makes it a bit grating. It would definitely benefit from velocity/midi controls if you can use a midi controller.

I like the composition.

Great work! :)

Great mix and very good range of frequencies to my ears, one of the most well balanced tracks I listened till now. I am a sucker for flutes, so you got me totally hooked by it from the start. I also dig the "loop" nature of the track, coming back to the beginning, and always find interesting those pieces which try to build on the previous material presented, with little variations but timbre. In this regard, I think choosing to keep a drone sequence of the same repeated note is bold but also risky. At some moments it is really effective to create tension and play with other melodies, but at some points I must say it can also get too much attention (this could be due to my ears or my headphones having an affinity for that frequency, though, so take this with a grain of salt). A fantastic piece which I really enjoyed and fits really well to the mystery mood you were aiming for. Good job!

It reminded me of a Tesseract song, very pleasant.

I really like the use of the rhodes, the soft echo is perfect for the texture of something being lost.

Why is it that when I hear this track, I get this picture in my head: a small group of dwarves playing insturments, because they are bored.... Seriously, I can even see that very passionate gnome blowing hard into a light wind instrument.... (What's the name of that brass at the beginning?). In short - Gnomes

А! Right! Track!! It's magical :>

The general combination of instruments, the atmosphere of something old, slightly overgrown and yet a bit gritty... I love it!

Thanks so much for the comment, it really means a lot. The first instrument(the one that plays right off the bat) is a flute, which I actually reused for the countermelody halfway in lol. I also later added a harp to accent the melody so it wouldn't get drowned out in the mix.
