This is an ambient piece that would play during parts of a free roaming or open world area featuring an ancient lost city. The music is meant to convey wonder and mystery while not taking too much attention away from the gameplay.

The chord progression and structure is written to work as a loop and for the structure to be randomised.

The last section of increasing dynamic sustained chords could be triggered when discovering an area of interest like a tomb or something that advances the game's story.

Description of Setup (Optional but recommended)
Logic Pro, lots of sample libraries including Spitfire, Cinematic Studio Series, Project SAM, Audiobro etc. The biggest improvement I've made to my setup lately has been to do away with the typical piano keyboard setup above my legs and below the desk. Instead, I got a 61 Key Korg MicroKey and put it on top of my desk. I still have a weighted stage piano in my studio, but having a simple small keyboard on the desk makes things a bit more comfortable.

Ooo, that's a really nice composition in the opener, that shift. Constructive feedback:

The mix could use some compression, and could be mixed a little bit more mixed in space.

Stylistically, I like that I'm still getting 19th century Russian composer vibes like Borodin.

This is fantastic, the composition is stellar. Keep it up, I see a crapload of potential in you.

I thought I worked fast until I saw you composing an entire orchestra, and others more than 2 tracks haha

Your track really matches the description of free-roaming a lost city. It almost sounds like something that would play in WoW. Amazing work, love the orchestration!

It's always a joy to listen to orchestral music in the context of creating ambient.
In my opinion, the music is very consistent with the theme of the jam, and your description is very accurate, my associations were the same as you described.

Thank you for your music, I liked it!
