Overall, Amazing game, art style was one of, if not the nicest of this jam. The music was fire.. and the controls were relativel smooth, however in the difficulty department, it was a bit off, I couldn't get very far, due to the lack of often checkpoints and in general the difficulty of the puzzles. Also not sure how the theme was implemented? But overall it was a neat game..

thanks for playing! I agree the difficulty might be a bit much, I tried to find a good balance of not too easy or too hard, but I guess I play tested it too much and lost track of how it would feel for a first time player. As for the theme, I guess it's more of One Tool, Two Uses 😅 with being able to use the grapple to move the player and also move the blocks to solve the puzzles, I wanted to add more uses, but yk... gamejams lol. I'm glad you liked it though!

Pretty nice game, exactly what's expected to be made in a few days (which is not a bad thing by the way), and it's good/great in most areas. For example, in art, the art is simple but easy to see. Again, what you think can be made in a few days. Music is pretty great but not very "catching" of attention. That could either be a music problem or just the platforming is hard.

Speaking of platforming- the game's pretty hard on touchpads. My touchpad is pretty decent tho-and I would have appreciated alternate keyboard controls (like x for grappling instead)

Onto the numbers:

Art: 8.510

Music: 8/10

Implementation of mechanics: 9/10

Theme: 7.5/10. Nothing to gimmicky tbh.

I honestly think your game is great and deserves a good place in the jam. Good work guys! Keep it up.

Just wanted to leave a comment here as well to say I had a good time with it.  Great music selection, art is really suited for this style of game, and very fun swinging mechanics.

Amazing graphics, well done. I enjoyed playing it a lot. In some levels you really need skills but overall really a great game.

Looks funny, I like the character view. Pixel graphic is nice and simple.

Taking me back to my Bionic Commando days. Really well done with a killer soundtrack. Had to stop myself playing so I could get back to rating other entries :-D
