Amazing, feels like a modernized Asteroids, great mechanics, AMAZING art, great music, but I think that it is too hard to play. Maybe the mechanics are a bit hard to master, but anyways it is a great challenge and maybe I am just a noob and I don't consider that as a rating parameter. Anyways, I think there should be more elements to improve fun here through the game. Maybe some upgrades, I dunno, but there is room for improvement on the game design. Anyways, it is an amazing game!
Congrats!!!
I really like the idea of relative motion being presented here. That is a part of space travel that is very rarely factored into games like this.
I agree with everyone that the art is cool. A bit more contrast between the background and foreground wouldn't hurt, in my opinion.
And SQLPY is correct, if you never turn, you win. Which, maybe should be addressed haha.
Great game. Thanks!
this game looks great! the colours work very well together and the background change at around 50 points is amazing. You can kinda cheese the game by ignoring the obstacles and going past them, also its a bit annoying that if you want to shoot an enemy you have to move towards it (making close range combat impossible) but the gameplay loop is enjoyable. Great job on this!
Well, just going left or right and ignoring the rockets beats the game lol, the music stops if you go for too long hahaha. I did enjoy the background shift though at 60 seconds. I think making the background parallax would give a better illusion of motion and adding some sort of mechanic that prevents you from simply ignoring the enemies.
Colour scheme was banger though. The aesthetics are good!
I love how stylish this is! That really works well for this game because, despite it simple gameplay, everything really pops! The background especially is just pleasant to look at, and still sells the idea of outer space nicely in my opinion.
Not sure I've got much feedback for this one; I think it does everything that it sets out to do really effectively. I'm not a huge fan of the font, but that's nitpicking and awfully subjective.
Overall, great work!
Clever use of color pallette to give the game a distinct atmosphere. I like the use of the mouse as a control scheme. Great job!
Fun Asteroids-style game ~ Bright, vibrant, colourful and beautiful, just like how I love 'em! ^_^
