This game was pretty entertaining to play. I laughed a lot with the songs, all the bands names (DrumDrum is the best lol). I think the best part of this is how you nailed the theme, going to a direction i didn't see any other game taking it during this jam. Not a retro game, but a game about retro music. Congrats for your idea.
Utter madness. Well done.
I like the idea overall! I think it needs some fine-tuning though, mainly in controls and some sound effects as others have mentioned below. I also didn't see a way to remove a vinyl from the track once I had put one in (namely the tutorial vinyls) which messed me up quite a lot as I couldn't swap in new vinyls, though I'm not sure if that was a bug or not. Either way, this game definitely has a lot of room to grow if you can polish it up!
I do like the art and retro theme. I would suggest you improve the game mechanics and cotrols.
It could be a really cool game because it has something oddly statisfying to blend between songs and the gameplay is well done but i have to say that i couldnt play long after the tutorial because the sound when i click smth (the "wooow") was too annoying and my eardrum just exploded whenever somebody called on the bottom :D
change the soundeffects and its safe to play. Maybe its me that finds it irritating
Very cool conceptually, and great interpretation of the theme. Also, I always appreciate a game with a great sense of humor.
Some of the clicking back and forth was a bit confusing. I think having that tutorial-y bit as the beginning was a great call, but even then, it seemed like a lot of info to take in. Also, some of the tutorial seemed to sometimes be over what I needed to click on, which took me a minute to figure out (specifically, the play/pause buttons were both under the tutorial text box and so I had to click blindly for a while until I pressed the buttons underneath it).
Overall, I think this is a game that would benefit from being expanded, if that's what your interested in doing. Like I said, the concept and sense of humor are simply amazing.
First time performing as a DJ :D
There were some nice mechanics in this game and overall it was a delightful play.
One issue I had was with the caller sound, as it was pretty loud and a tad agressive. Turning down the volume would be appreciated.
Also when I bought a new vinyl, I was unable to play it as I couldn't remove the other vinyls from the deck, I tried clicking everything with no luck :(
Also for some reason, the first called was stuck on screen and I couldn't end the call, not a major issue but I'm not sure if I got myself in a situation where I couldn't interact with anything :O
If you're planning on continuing with this game, I'd like to check it out again
