WHAT EVEN IS THIS GAME DUDE? WHAT? Lol, I was so surprised. Don't read further if you haven't played yet, go play it. When I first started I was thinking, wow these are surprisingly good movement mechanics for a crane game then the "surprise" happened lol. How did you even finish this? Anyway, great game, had a lot of fun. Throwing containers around was nice and the part after was even better. Congrats!
Haha! Glad you got a kick out of it, thanks for playing!
I enjoyed my swim! I accidentally skipped the first level while exploring, but went back for it afterwards. Really love the models, though the crane sequence was a little slow and janky.
Yeah I wanted some jankiness in the crane for the silliness of it, but I think it might have been more fun if I had it speed up while holding down the key, since it could feel like a bit of a drag slowly waiting to rotate back. Initially, I was like, “Yeah I’ll just have the player load the entire ship on” and then I was like, “oh god no, nobody is going to play past this section if they have to do that many crates” haha. So I was hoping 6 would be a nice middle ground of like.. It’s enough crates to have some fun throwing them all around, but not enough to make it drag on too much? But it was a little hard to tell if I was getting that ratio right or not.
“Don’t worry about the blue ones, throw ’em anywhere” got an actual laugh out of me. Nice xD
hehehe good! Mission accomplished!
Both game modes were very enjoyable. That specific part at the end (no spoilers) was well thought out, as it was the first thing I thought of when I completed the level. Great job!
thank you!
10/10 would jump off the platform again
Some say DebaDebs is still falling to this day.
I pressed TAB >:P
Hey, this was really cool! You made 2 independent yet equally fun experiences with their own gameplay loops. The physics involved is very well done and the modeling and everything is very nice. You did a lot for the amount of time you had! And I thought you had an excellent take on "Elevate"! Really good job!
Thank you very much!
LOVED this, very silly but both levels were enjoyable and well made! Very on-theme overall, and fun mechanics all around! Keep it up!
Thank you! Will do!
What a quirky game - the first job is pretty straight forward. Some crazy float physics but that's fine for flingin' those crates around. Then level 2 happens and it's a totally different experience. Well made, well done!
Thank you!
This is amazing. I cant figure out how you can make art at this quality in that short amount of time. Really good job. I have one question tho. Is it intentionally that you can go to space before loading the containers?
thank you! Keep in mind I’ve been practicing 3d for about a half decade before you were born. There’s really no secret trick, just a lot of practice and you’ll speed up.
It is indeed intentional! Partially because you didn’t seem excited about craning it up, and I wanted to give you the option to bypass it if you wanted. Later, when I added the menu I could have taken the skip out, but I thought it would be funny to leave it in.
really nice game. Good thing there were no surprises though
Thanks hobbes! :)
This is very stupidly charming but yeah the game looks nice, the audio is good and the game works and is great fun. I don't know how I'm not fired saying I threw every container at my co-worker but I guess things work different in the future.
Thank you! Those crane-elevator-astronauts have an amazing union, super hard to get fired!
I don't know how you guys achieve such graphics in such a short amount of time
coffee
good work! voice over and dialogues are amazing, and the gameplay is smooth. Specially the crane gameplay, so much fun and engaging. For a single person to achieve this level of quality, did you even sleep? Too good for a game jam, All the best!
Thank you!
