Very good game! The only thing I can really say is I wish there were some harder puzzles, I enjoy getting stumped for a bit in puzzle games, this never really had that in my opinion. Other than that, everything looks/feels/sounds amazing!
yeah just never got around to making harder levels, I was super self conscious about the game's difficulty and made all the puzzles really easy
Thanks for playing though! glad you enjoyed it!
Great game! The environment and game mechanics are very interesting. Congrats!
Thanks!
good
good.
Fun platformer. I agree with some of the below, I wanted more from the lantern specifically since it is a solid element for you. I don't think you intended for people to ever go back left again, because when I did, the camera never followed me. The instructions at the beginning also said to go left but there's nothing there and the whole game is to the right lol not a big deal though.
Uh, not a typo. it's his left totally (saved it)
I commented about the lantern in the previous comment and yeah I never set up going back left but there is no way to like fall off the map so it's not to big of a deal. Thanks for playing!
I would have loved to see more of a integrated usecase to holding the lanter tight, currently I would have preferred just to see more of the level at all times
I can understand this for the levels in the game right now but the plan was to have more and more complex/bigger floors where you would need to keep a mental map which is where stopping and looking around comes into play. I do feel like I could have do this better whether or not I had enemies or larger levels but I do understand it feeling shallow as of right now. thanks for playing nonetheless!
This was really well put together! I loved the vibe, and the mysteriousness of it all, the music fit really well with it, the song had a bit of a silly vibe, that really fit with carrying out the will of this eldritch entity that doesn’t take human life so seriously.
I guess having a backlog of music works out when you are feeling lazy, I made that song a while ago but still glad you like it. thanks for playing!
The music and art is pretty neat. Level design is fun to explore but wish their was some more variety to gameplay or mechanics. Overall pretty good, great job!!
Yeah I was trying to do a lot with as little as possible with mechanics, I feel like I should've done more as I think 6 and 7 are kinda boring floors but I'm glad you enjoyed it overall and thanks for playing!
I really liked it! It was a fun little story with some good level designs. The music and art was pleasing. Overall really good!
Thanks for playing!
fun fact I actually almost left floor 7 out of the game by accident because of a typo
Very fun short experience! Puzzles are well designed, music and art were great, and the elevate function paired with the lighting works really well, looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Interesting mechanic and nice visuals!
thanks!
I love the ominous atmosphere. It's very charming in a spooky way! :) The sound design is also very nice, just wish there was a little more to the silence.
Yeah I will admit I slacked on the audio design a little bit and could've added more, glad you still enjoyed it and thanks for playing!
