Such an elegant design! The art is really cute and the game is addictive! Great job :D
Thanks!
Love the art and the concept was very simply it's such a creative game
Thank you very much!
Game was pretty fun. You did a good job on polishing a simple concept. The only bug I encountered in the WebGL version was that the music didn't play the first time around, but when I died and started again it was a proper bop to listen to. One wish is that there would a some sort of level select because it's kind of annoying to have to start all the way over each time.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah there is a couple bugs in HTML5 version. GameMaker Studio 2's HTML5 build module isn't exactly bug free.
really dig the color aesthetic choices! Wasnt able to get too far, I encountered a glitch that turned the screen black and reloading the page didnt seem to fix it :(, please let me know if you upload a non html version
Thank you! Sorry about the glitch and yes there is a windows download.
Super stylish game - loved the art and music! The puzzle like nature of the levels was great as well.
Thank you very much!
The restricted use of colour and contrast really helps bring the focus to the key elements of gameplay - really like that.
Interacting with the different parts of the game was very clear, and taught the the player quite well!
Using health as a form of turn currency, where you're forced to spend it to get past enemies is an excellent mechanic! Made the gameplay a great mix of platformer combat and puzzle.
Tapping the arrow keys to cover long distances can get a little repetitive though!
Thanks for the great feedback! Yeah, unfortunately I did not have enough time to make the movement continuous.
Never finishing the to do list - the curse of gamejams!
Ha ha! Yeah.
soundtrack will stay in my mind for long time, love it soo much<3 but moving is tooooooo loud, grat job anyway
Thanks! Cant take credit for the music though, its by Evan King.
Interesting combination of turn-based, rpg, puzzle and crafting elments. This has some potential! I also like the simplistic pixel artstyle.
Thanks! I wanted it to be a roguelike from day 1 but I tried to put an interesting spin on it.
