How did you implement the theme?
Your only way to defend yourself against the enemies is a wand that costs health to fire. So you have to be aware of this constant decay of health while you try to stay alive and collect hearts.
How did you add the special object?
The weapon you use in game is a magic wand that decays your health to use.

Awesome take on the theme!
What a unique and charming game! I had lots of fun while playing this. Your project is quite difficult the longer you play, but I love a good challenge. I can definitely see Wand of Life in an arcade!

Really cool game and idea! I loved the retro / pixelated graphics, and I felt that the health bar shooting was a great feature! I like that there was a mute button as I thought the music was a little bit too loud, overall a very cute and well made game :D
Wow... I love the gameplay and art, very simple but very satisfying! Music pairs along with everything very well too. My one critique is it feels like eventually you get to a certain point where the enemy spawn rate just skyrockets and you can't do much about it. My high score was 51. Overall, very well put together entry!
Very cool retro/arcade game! The fact that your hearts act as your life and your ammos is interesting! high score was 23 lol either I’m not good or the game is harder than it looks :)

I think the concept that each shot is a health bar is unique, in addition that you can get your health back after hitting your mark. This can quickly become an addicting game!
