Game felt nice and polished. Took me a second to figure out a winning strat but I eventually did live on stream. My fingers were on fire by the end!
A tip page on what the abilities do before being thrown into the game would have been good. Overall, neat though!
Oh yea probably a good idea right now though currently you can hover over the icons for more info thank you for playing :D
Right but it takes a round or two of examining the buttons just to get a good grasp on what they do.
Ah i see ill see what i can do about it thanks for letting me know :D
Very nice and extremely well done graphics, for control I found a bit clunky the need to click to switch (played twice before figuring out I wasn't healing the person near the mouse), so maybe having the target be the nearest person to mouse without need for click would be a nice add
oh probably need a tutorial too but i made it so that u can click to switch use the arrow keys and the mouse wheel to my head those are the most intuitive ways to switch are implemented
This is a cool idea.
Needed 2-3 rounds first until i fully got what to do, but then it's pretty fun. Maybe a little explanation at the beginning or in the description could help?
Think maybe it needs a bit more balancing, because in the end i only had one member left and pressed numbers randomly until the endboss was dead :-D
Definitely can see the "strength in numbers" here amd looking forward to your post-jam bosses, all in all a pretty fun game with nice graphics.
Thanks for playing ! Yeah I was abit hesitant that people would find it too hard so I tweaked the numbers abit Im planning to tweak the stats for the Minotaur after the jam :D
really enjoyed the visuals, sfx, and overall polish of this game! I'm just using the mouse scroll to switch targets and spamming all the skill buttons, which can be somewhat repetitive but still very accurate
Very cool minigame, very well executed, runs smooth, nicely polished and the visuals fit very well together. Love the colors, love the visual effects.
Thank you! Do you have suggestions for gameplay i could add
A little indicator below the selected character would help.
Other than that, maybe the healer himself should have a healthbar? Like you need to keep yourself alive while also healing your team, and sometimes the boss targets you
oh will be working on the indicator as for the healer i think future levels will have it. thanks for the feedback :D
I liked this! This was short and sweet but the core concept is very satisfying and I think it could easily be expanded on in interesting ways. Looking forward to the post-jam update
Thanks Man :D I plan on a stats update for the Minotaur and scheduling some time to develop more bosses still thinking of mechanics so that its not much of a spam fest
I kind of liked the hectic spamming of the 1 key. That feels very true to the experience of trying to keep my friends alive in an MMO. I think you nailed the balance for this short version of the game. I always felt like I was close to losing one of the fighters, no point where I could afford to stop healing somebody
Appreciate it looking forward to more feedback :D
Managed to beat this on my first playthrough! Once I figured out the targeting system, I felt so OP haha.
It could do with being a bit more challenging; but not through just buffing the boss as that could very quickly become unachievable. Maybe the boss could have had different moves? Like the boss does a grand sweep, and you having a team-wide invulnerability that you could use to counter?
All in all, was a fun game. And I really really enjoyed the sfx, as well as the boss animations. Great job with this!
Yea Initially I wanted the boss to visually be injured through out the fight but i was commissioning my friend for the boss so that I had more time implementing it but I ran out of money hence why the adventurers are just swinging rather than animated, you really say all the budget went to the boss XD but thanks for playing really appreciate it
I always play healers in games that I play so this I was looking forward to plaything through this. I really liked the art and the sound, I feel like everything worked well together.
I think this game requires a lot of UI it was a bit of a hassle to move my mouse to every member when they're so far away. But i think if you could add like portraits of the members at the bottom and allow the player to click on them to select I think that would be cool. Would be interesting to add different damage types of debuffs to the bosses so you have to counter act them in later levels. Fun experience :)
Thanks man :D, Would it be better if its was a rectangular reticle in my head right now is since most of the warriors are the same sprite it would be abit confusing as well but thanks for playing my game and giving feedback really appreciate it!
The idea is good, I always liked to be the healer in MMOs! I would have liked to see more complexity in the game, because you can beat the boss just spamming 1-2-3-4 over and over again, and just changing the target knight when you see one with low HP
Thanks for playing! do you have any suggestions I can add to the game?
could have the boss scale in damage, increase attack rate, and let you buff your spells over time roguelite style
Thanks will be doing an update after the jam! o7
I liked the concept and the graphics are amazing. Spamming heal is very repetitive, I'm not sure what or how but another mechanic besides clicking would be cool... that is, if you continued the game.
Thank you for playing initially wanted a few more levels but i ran out of time so right now its just more off a proof of concept and looking for feedback on what I can add but I do plan on developing it abit more after the jam
