Pretty neat game, though I found it a bit confusing at first. Loved the music and presentation though

Pretty complex but it's a very good game. Congratulations.

Very cool twist on a turn based dungeon crawler with a clever way of displaying your party. Over all great concept and execution. Keep it up!

This is a great concept, and I caught on to the mechanics really fast. Great use of the assets, and overall a really fun game.

Great job!

Cool idea for a turn based roguelike game. Good implementation of grid based movement and interesting tactics mechanics. At first i didn't really understand what was going on, but i finally got it 😁 Good job!

I liked the idea of stacking characters together. Controls are making the game quite easy to get into.

While i was playing, i couldn't get out of the attack range of the enemy sometimes, every time i leave their range, i still lose character and getting pulled back. Maybe i'm doing something wrong?

No, you did everything right lol. The HTML build was buggy since I didn’t properly test it while coding it.

The Windows build works much better but I don’t expect many people to download the game during the jam

Interesting concept, that weapons/characters have different ranges and that you have to strategize your next attack. Difficulty ramps up very quickly. I think I did well on my first try:

Nice work on the game. As for improvements, I'd personally work on a bit more feedback on retrieving characters, maybe that you gain them once you step on the tile.

Aside from that, having a way for the player to pace the tempo of the game might be the most significant change. So everything updates once the player does an input action. (Maybe this already happens? But there is some delay on it) Tailoring the game speed to the user.

Noice score

maybe that you gain them once you step on the tile” - I actually built the game like this and this is how it works on the Windows target, the HTML build built all funky for some reason

Wow, it's very cool and fun game 😃

Very fun!
This was my best ^^'!

Cool start to a roguelike with an interesting party/tactics mechanic! Would be fun with randomly generated dungeons to explore!

This is really cool. Not the most strategic player but this did have me doing a lot of forward thinking. I found that the spell that fired in a huge radius didn't work for me (though its possible i was doing something wrong)
The music was a really good fit. Gave everything a chill vibe.

Thank you for playing.

I used the Windows target for testing so the HTML5 target sadly has quite a bit of bugs that I ddn’t catch in time for submission.

Yeah I get that. Happened with my submission to. Found a bug at the last minute that was so easy to fix raced to replace it before submission. Was a minute late sadly XD

A fun idea, growing/stacking, I'm not 100% sure how everything everything works, could be a good idea to put the book in the description on itch too!

At first i didn't understand that theses monsters stacking was hurting me too, "hey I killed you why are you al--- ooooooh, ok !" and replayed the game :D.

Well done!

Thank you for the comment, I would love to add more in-game feedback through audio and visuals so it’s easier to understand what is going on.

I just added the How-To-Play gif to the game description for future players, thank you for the suggestion
