It took a bit to get the hang of how things work, but I was able to defend that tree for a few rounds, at least!  I had a lot of fun sorting out how to play and figuring out ways to get that little bit farther each time around.  Well done!  Fantastic entry, and very inspiring that it is your first entry!  Keep jamming, Slurp!

Glad you managed to have some fun, thanks for the feedback :)
Is there any particular points of confusion you had while playing? I plan to patch the game to have a proper tutorial within the game itself now that the voting period is done so any points that need clarification I'd love to include

A very interesting game and i enjoyed the game play. I was laughing at the spinning sword of doom!

Keep jamming

Thank you! There was a point where I decided not to cap the upgrades on the weapons because the chaos was just too funny. Glad you liked it!

Great work on your game, I hope to see you in another jam :)

Super stylish game! I don't think I've seen anything quite like this! The character and enemies reminded me somewhat of Rez, which is always really cool. You reminded me of the importance of the GDD and inspired me to focus more on that in the next game jam. I did get a smile out of playing this game; thanks for making it and congratulations on finishing your first game jam so successfully!

Thank you so much! Glad to hear it brought you a smile!! Tbh the aesthetic is mostly to cover the fact I cannot design that well hahaha but I’m glad I could make something that looks p cool with my lack of skills

Slúrp, this is SUCH a cool game! I had a bit of a difficult time understanding how to play it, but once I got the hang of it, I really liked it. The visuals are amazing. The lore is fantastic. I liked the music.
Juggling the weapons to get the most out of them was very fun. It forced me to become skillful at that mechanic before being able to progress far into the game. I think that's good.
The game has has a definitive beginning, middle, and end. By the end I felt like an absolute beast. Well done. Great job!
