Excellent art and music!  The game play reminds me of the shooter Ikaruga where you changed polarity to be able to attack different enemies.  Trying to manage the types while either kiting and/or keeping a staff on screen to switch is very challenging!  The presentation was great, and I appreciate the two modes.  Great work all around!

Great game! I love the idea that a specific weapon is only effective against a certain enemy! Art was amazing too!

Keep jamming!

Developer

Thank you for your kind comments and for playing! It means a lot.

Top-tier entry, everyone!  Well done across the board!  I absolutely love the character art and the game was really fun to play!  I hope you will continue to develop this game after the jam - and of course, tackle next year's as well.  You've made a beautiful gem of a game.  It is an incredible start!

Developer

Lance2185, you've just made my day. Thank you so very much for the kind words and encouragement. I am very proud of what our team has accomplished here.

I hope to see you in next year's jam as well!

I will absolutely be there!  I've had a blast with last year's jam, and this one was even better!  These are incredible opportunities to challenge and improve.  Absolutely worth it :)

I loved all the artwork, music, and the way you used the theme; the interface looks great too. This would be something cool to see you iterate on and develop further beyond the jam. Great entry!

I know it's a little bias, but I love the survivor's gameplay so much! I would love to see this game fleshed out a little with some more level art and talents! This is a great jam game, and I loved the characters :) The devlog was robust and I even learned a little from it since Godot is my next challenge! Great work!

thanks, It was all thanks to the amazing music that made the idea juices to start working!

Awesome team effort. The music fits the game, the art assets are just amazing and the overall vibe is just super techno. Great to see all of you venture into new horizons. An improvement could be some shader effects and some more juice to elevate the feel of the game even more. All in all, great game. Cheers!

Thank you for the kind words! The music Romulas4444 made is so fantastic. We got so lucky getting them as a last minute teammate. I asked them to make us a song. One. They were like "How's about five?" - Totally insane! Check out the OST here

Same story with the artwork. We had two talented artists and both of them just went so far above and beyond, it blew me away.

You're absolutely right about the game needed more juice. It has just enough to feel like a game, but if I had another day, I feel like I could have taken it to the next level. One of my stretch goes was to learn more shader techniques. There are a few basic shaders in the game, but nothing crazy. Next time, for sure!

Once again, thank you for the kind words. I can't wait to check out your submission. It's good to see you.
